| A bin and some concrete |

Read something ages ago that gave me this idea. I want a motorcycle anchor but don't want to drill into the driveway or into a wall as it's rented accommodation.
So how about getting one of those big outdoor bins and a ground anchor a bit like these here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/80L-Capacity-R...988wt_1136
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CEMENT-IN-GROU...4658wt_899
Then shove the anchor inside and cut a hole in the side of the bin at the bottom so the anchor sticks out, and simply fill the bin up with concrete. Voila!
There you go. I realise it's moveable unlike a ground anchor but a 80l bin full of concrete attached to a bike is going to be a pain in the arse for a thief to load into a van or whatever. Surely an improvement on just a chain alone. Have I thought this through properly or is it just a brain fart? What do you think?

Hi all,
Im a new forum user, looking for some pointers on next choice of tyres! (forgive if wrong place)
Looking at either Michelin pilot road 3 or Dunlop roadsmarts 2 for my 2001 Fazer thou? I ride in all weathers all year round on a mixture of roads from motorway to B's.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Probably been done to death this , but what is the most miles you have ever done in a day.
For me it was 769 miles from Limoux SW France to Dover via Calais ferry port. I was ridding a Honda CBF 1000 GT. Surprisingly I was not to tired numb bum and a bit of backache most of that was on route national roads. A hot shower and a few pints a good nights sleep and then another 320 miles from Dover to Hoylake on the Wirral. I was 61 at the time.
I have done this ride several times as I had a home down there in a village called Alet les Bains but that was the only time I did it in one go through France.
In April this year I did the Z1000 SX forum spring meeting around North Wales 170 miles on the Saturday. On the Sunday Wirral to Dover, 320 miles. Ferry in the morning to Calais then on to Bordeaux think that is about 700 miles, stopped over at my sons in Bordeaux (some nice French twat slashed my seat in Bordeaux)from Bordeaux to Benissa, Costa Blanca, again about 550miles arrived on the Tuesday evening. Had again numb bum backache and had to stand in the shower for half an hour just to get mobile again, ached for days. The Honda CBF is more comfortable for touring than my Kawasaki Z1000SX, or else the fact that I am pushing 65 had something to do with it.
I now have the wee FZ6 and I can knock up 150 /200 miles on that on a ride out before I start getting uncomfortable and that is on the twisties and mountain roads.
Just been reading this post, Jesus you can tell I'm Irish I can ramble on forever talking shit!!!!!!!!!
:z :z :lol :lol

Does anyone know the best way to do this ?
Can one earplugs thingy really make 4 ear plugs ?
The YouTube I've seen shows a guy sticking the earplugs in, then cutting out a hole, is this the best way ?
Advice please from those that have (punkstig is one I believe ;-)
