Does anyone know the best way to do this ?
Can one earplugs thingy really make 4 ear plugs ?
The YouTube I've seen shows a guy sticking the earplugs in, then cutting out a hole, is this the best way ?
Advice please from those that have (punkstig is one I believe ;-)
Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one. Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.
Its easy, i made several pairs, bought a kit from ebay and a set or radiopaq dots (small in ear earphones) and took the rubber off the earphones and moulded the silicon round the ear phone before putting it into my ears, i done 1 ear at a time, just make sure the earphone in reasonably central to start before you put it into your ear and once it dries you should be good to go, i use it with a jabra BT3030 to link to my tom tom or phone for sat nav while out.
There is plenty silicon to make 2 full sets, remember if you are moulding it around a set of earphones you will need slightly less than half as the earphone will use some of the space, if you use half i find the earplug is too thick and when putting your helmet on it doesnt give as easy to can be uncomfortable once your helmet is on. Oh and dont move your mouth while the plugs are drying as it can affect the plug as your ear canal can move while talking etc.
