Would anyone know the size of the clippy bits that go on the nose cone to screw the black infill panels too? Or have one lying around?
Bought some off eBay but they're too big. Mine got lost when the fairing was being sprayed!

Anyone out there know the best way to get rid of yellow staining from alloy wheels....I've tried various allow wheel cleaner shite that doesn't work.
My neighbour suggested Autosol but I think that's overkill

Need some pointers here.
My daughters Fazer, 02 plate, less than 9,000 miles from new, last used properly on our Spain tour in August 2011, been sat in the garage since.
Getting it prepped for our tour in 8 weeks time so gave it a full service, changed all fluids, fresh petrol, fresh tyres, took it for mot and noticed it's misfiring. Gotta be the carbs gummed up was my first thought, so without investigating anything else, whipped out the carbs and stripped em. They were absolutely spotless, no signs of gumming up anywhere. Had all the jets out etc and blew em through with compressed air just to be sure.
Reasembled and she's still misfiring. Wet hand on the downpipes reveals No 2 is not firing. Although the plugs have been in for 3 years they've done less than 3k so they should be fine (no guarantee though)
So, swapped plug 1 with plug 2. No2 still not firing. Drained the bowls on 1 and 2 = same amount of fuel from each so fuel getting in.
Swapped plug leads over on cylinders 2&3, No 2 still not firing.
Next step is to buy a compression tester.....
...unless you guys can suggest anything else to try.
Cheers.

Some of may have seen my replacement mudguard washers. I have a set of R&G Frame Crash Protectors (part no. CP0058BL) fitted to my 03 bike and was thinking of producing replacement bobbins as I can't seem to find any for sale.
Could I ask your reaction if I was to sell each bobbin at £16.50 including VAT and P&P. They will be made of engineering delrin in black to the same dimensions as the R&G versions which is diameter 50 by 85mm long
Many thanks.
PS. by the way R&G have the frame hole pitch centres incorrect at 51mm, they should be 50mm, so if you buy a set you have to slot the holes to make them fit.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the thou next year and I'm wondering if the older models are better like with the 600's. Would I be better finding a good old one or splash out on a newer one?
