WAnted: Gen1 Fazer Thou EXUP valve
Posted by: Roadie - 17-06-14, 07:13 AM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

Looking for either a set of pipes with a valve in or just the valve on its own.  Seized solid after standing a while and the pully has fallen to bits when trying to free it  :'(

IM me if you have or know of any going.

How hot does the end can get?

As per title. I'd quite like to put carbon caps on my exhausts, but need a rough temperature to work to. They're free flowing, if that makes any difference.

Anyone ever taken the link pipe temp?

Thanks!

Foccer relay 2 from High Wycombe to Chatteris

Another one, I'm afraid!  :lol

Could I beg a hand carting a Fazer undertray and a LH switchgear up from red98 to me?

Would be possible, but difficult to get on the back of a bike due to the bulk of the undertray.

Thanks in advance!  Smile

  Airbox help required
Posted by: ChristoT - 16-06-14, 09:20 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (22)

More n00bishness from your favourite Fazer projecteer!  :lol :lol

Any wheezes for getting the airbox back on the carbs? I eventually got the carbs onto the engine rubbers after a long fight yesterday, but am struggling like mad with the airbox rubbers. For a start, they don't seem to want to line up! Ideas?

I've already tried a thin smear of vaseline on the inside of the rubber, but that isn't helping much.

Thanks!

2000 FZS600 Seat Cowl For Sale
Posted by: cowboy3448 - 16-06-14, 07:26 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (4)

Just found a seat down - never painted or fitted - that i bought for my old Fazer (2000 'W' FZS600)
Took me absolutely ages tracking one of these down and then i never got around to fitting it!!
Was test fitted so i know it was the correct unit for the bike.
Still in unpainted condition, few marks from storage, still has little bag with fitting bits & instructions (Looks to be in French?!?!)
Located in Bridgend, South Wales....work in Cardiff.  Prefer collection in person but don't mind meeting up to deliver ii to someone locally or you can arrange your own courier/collection service.
Cheapest i can find online at the moment is £69.99
I paid £45 for it so figure £30 is a bargain!!!
