Just before I advertise this one to a global audience I thought I’d drop it on here to see if it fires up any enthusiasm. So, the bike now for sale is a 1998 Red FZS600 Fazer Mk1 with a genuine 2400 dry miles from new. Carbs rebuilt last year & apart from the Pyramid Belly Pan & carbon hugger & chain guard it’s otherwise standard. MOT until September 2025 (probably Renew it next month if it’s still here).
This extremely low mileage Fazer is in lovely garaged condition & looks stunning. Sadly I don’t think I can post pictures on here but if you are genuinely interested msg me on 07795 203633 with an email address or WhatsApp & I’ll get some pictures across to you. I’m looking to achieve around £2750 for this bike & it is currently in Leicestershire. Any other questions please msg me in the above number.

| Float valve seat size |

Hello all, so I've bought a replacement float valve set and the seat/hole in the new ones look larger than the ones that came out. The seller states they are a #1.0 seat size, but the original ones have 1.0 printed on them and look smaller than the new ones...
Will this matter as the seat should close once the floats are full anyway?

I have changed my clocks to the electronic set up provided by Danny a couple of years ago.
I have tried to message him but his inbox is full so I doubt he is still on the forum.
I would like to check my TPS but realise I don't have the rev counter and probably cant use the electronic one. Does anybody know if the electronic unit would work and if, as I suspect, it won't, how else can I check without refitting my old clocks.
Thanks

| 2010 FZ8s loose power/revs after a long ride |

Hi guys, first post. I picked up a 2010 FZ8s a few months back. The bike is having a strange problem, that has happened on both the long rides i have done on it.
I go for a longish ride, about 200Km, stop for a couple of hours, then start the ride home again.
After around 1 hour riding (speed approx 100Kmh) the bike will loose revs and will not accelerate. If i try to rev seems to intermittently rev then stop reving.
I pull to the side of the road and twist the throttle a few time and it seems to rev ok, then off I go for about another 30 minutes, then it will happen again.
I ride to work most days, doing 15 minutes at 60Kmh and around another 15 minutes at 110Kmh on the highway and have no problem.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

New to the site, no idea how I'm supposed to post my own question.
At the off chance some maay read this I have a problem with my 1998 600 Fazer. Gearbox rumbling. I stripped the clutch out and found when I turn the input shaft it it's clunky / notchy in all gears and when in neutral.
Horrible loud noise when running until the clutch lever is pulled in.
