Fazer 1000 EXUP set - vitman - 31-08-25

Since I got a motorcycle with the EXUP system removed, I’m looking either for the valve itself with cables for the exhaust manifold, or the complete manifold with the valve and cables. Shipping to Estonia.

America is where you will find them!

Unfortunately the cost of postage and some other reasons, postage into the UK is horrendous. Fingers crossed it would be better for you

Sadly I think you're really going to struggle at that price.

Because of the age of these bikes, now over 20yrs for the early ones parts are becoming scarce.  That's said you've got choices, the fact they can be bought for 1.5 - 4k range.  It may be a better option to find a complete working bike and brake yours for parts, you could well get your money back over time. Or another bike with other issues but a working or at least complete EXUP system and sell the rest.

The golden rule when buying older bikes but one that is complete!

The bike is alive. The EXUP has been removed Smile I don’t see any reason to part out the bike just because of this. A collector with EXUP has been found for 80 euros. The thread can be closed.

Yes I've seen your other thread on finding a replacement for €80 approx £70. I just hope it's serviceable, for that price in the UK I very much doubt it would be.

Fingers crossed it is.

It’s just a piece of metal that moves back and forth Smile take it apart, lubricate it. I repair cars, and I don’t see any problems with a metal flap that moves on an axis

If only it was that simple. The fact it's not, may account, for the amount that get removed and why they're so hard to find. As you'll discover bikes aren't cars. All that said I hope it's all perfectly serviceable.
