Hi guys and girls, I'm back on a fazer again (my 9th) I was always gonna come back. ? This ones an 02 Gen 1 with Full monty/airbox/rubbers modded. S1000 shock, Ktec fork valves/pistoms/springs, and of course an exhaust. ?

Not got many mods to do apart from potentially fat bar conversion, then little bits and bobs.

Just gonna ride and enjoy it. ?

2001 model FZS600 

Been off the road road for nearly nearly a year due to many issues.

Checking yesterday I have lost supply to the side light, rear light it not working either.

Headlights have power supply dip and main (although bike has previously linked the headlights so as both sides illuminate)

Brake lights work both front and rear BUT this also illuminates the number plate light?

Indicators work fine

Dash lights work fine

Rear light not illuminating, number plate light not illuminating.

Any obvious fuses or places to check?


Only things I have done is replace the indicator relay to fit LED indicators and replaced the dash lights with leds, the headlights are disconnected as the faring is off.

The number plat light coming on with the brake light sounds like a bad or crossed earth , but short of stripping off to look at the connectors on the rear light any easy routes to check? the main fuse box looks ok the fuses in there are all fine but do not seem to cover the side lights or rear light

Came across this on FB and just had to have it!!!

First job was completed within the hours, exup bolts swapped out for stainless. 

I'd like some bits for it though, definitely need to find a oem belly pan....

9600 miles by the time I'd got home from a spirited ride out...

Hey all, so, winter is coming and nothing is gonna  stop it! 
So for readying my faithful Fazer for the daily commute I am looking for your recommendations. 
My bike is standard so I am thinking the following;
Touring (flip up screen)
Heated bar grips
Aux flood lights 
Fairing lowers.
let me know what you think is worth it and any specific recommendations.
