All
Is there a temperature guage mod that people have carried out? Conscious there is no guage, and that apparently water pumps are prone to failing, is there a conversion/adaptation kit that anyone is aware of?
Thanks

Sorry All,
Probably been asked a million times ....
Is the genuine Yamaha Manual (2001-2005) available anywhere on here? I have a 4XV R1 one, but obviously a number of differences!
I always ask before paying someone on ebay £15 for a USB stick or download!
Thanks

Hi All,
The front mudguard side shoulder fixing bolts of my 2007 FZ6 S2 are too crudded to get back any shine.
Any idea where can I get just a couple of stainless bolts to replace?
Cheers, Alistair

Hi all,
I'm Alex, and collect a 2003 Fazer 1000 tomorrow evening. It's my first Fazer and I've bought it for summer runs between work (North London) where I stay down in the the week, and home (North Yorkshire) at the weekends. I've owned two R1s, a 4XV and 5JJ so am looking forward to that grunty R1 derived motor! I also own a Harley Davidson Fatboy and 2024 BMW GS1250 Adventure.
It's a very standard silver model and broadly unmodified. Will post a photo when collected.
I'm on the lookout for Givi pannier racks ..... which I understand are hard to come by.
Thanks

Hi all, been a while since I was last on, looked through the threads and can't see anything on this. My 2002 will red line no problem in 1st, 2nd and 3rd but 4th upwards, get to 8ooorpm and it bogs down, all power gone, won't rev past unless I pull in the clutch, roll off the throttle and all good. It's across all four cylinders. Any thoughts?
I still have problems with it sometimes, not always, cutting out under acceleration, sudden and brief, bit of a problem when overtaking, wondering if this is linked to the above issue or not.

A friend with a Kawasaki GTR asked me to help him with his GTR as it was blowing fuses.
I found that the Regulator/Rectifier had blown and when looking for a replacement I came across a company called UltimateRectifiers.com in the Netherlands.
They sound good and have a contact phone number and a 3 year warranty on the Rectifier/regulator, but nobody can give me any info on them
Electrexworld in the UK do not do Rectifier/regulators for many newer models including the GTR

As seems to be a theme these days, greedy leadership with poor management ability fcuked the company. Said fcukwit's need to be a) drained of all the cash they made and b) KTM as a brand needs to die. They were always too expensive and too unreliable. I can't believe KTM pulled a bait and switch, that sh1t might fly on cars (where punters are too stupid to know better) but not on motorcycles. The camshaft scandal perfectly demonstrated what they thought of their customers. I feel for the employees (I have a dealer local to me).
