Has anyone got any bits for the EXUP valve knocking around? Specifically the bush and collar that goes on the non-pulley end?

Had my Fazer in the garage since late October.


I tried to start it yesterday with no joy.


It's turning over, doing all the right things just won't start.


So last night I put the battery on charge, drained the carb bowls, re-set the spark gaps.


This morning it started briefly for a second climbed 7k revs but i couldn't catch it. It died and wouldn't start again.


Now what I'm thinking is when i put it away it was running sweet. I went against my better judgement and wintered it up on a near empty fuel tank.


Has moisture got in to the fuel? The garage is unheated and damp, detached from the house. Maybe i should drain all the fuel and refill with high octane?

Took the bike out other week wasn’t running right (low power) Cut out a couple of times. EML light came on and bike cut out. Turns over but will not fire. Got fault codes 12, 30 and 34. I’ve bypassed the tip over sensor to no joy. I’ve replac d the crankshaft sensors still no joy. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi all, recently changed to a gen2 so have some bits for sale. Fairing lowers with brackets/bolts no cracks or repairs but a few scratches and marks on lacquer £80 + post. Crash bungs £20 +post. New clutch cable and used exup cables £10 the pair +post and 2 workshop manuals one Haynes and one copy of Yamaha manual £12 each +post the Yamaha ones a bit heavy so post won’t be cheap for it. iPhone won’t let me upload photos for some reason but they are on gumtree you could see pics there or I could WhatsApp them to anyone interested.

I have been given two cans of Wurth dry chain lube by a workmate, anybody on here used it and been happy with it?

Hi just purchased a 1999 Fazer my first one of these, I have been riding a custom Virago1100

My beloved Yamaha Fazer got stolen from a "secured" underground parking (along with another motorbike) in the Docklands/Royal Docks area. It has greek licence plates as you can see in the pictures. It has been reported to the police. Having a nightmare finding one that doesn't cost £60 in shipping along with the £40 cost, does anyone a spare center stand knocking around that they would sell for a reasonable price?
