Hi All
Back on the fazer bandwagon again- after 9 years since owning my last 1999 FZS600!
Just about to acquire a Y2K FZS600SA with only 20.5K miles on the clock. Now the tyres on the bike are a few years old (6+ easy) and I was wondering at what sort of age you would consider replacing tyres that have not had a lot of use?
I have a 120/60/17 PR3 front unused tyre in the garage that I could fit on, but i know this is a slightly wider profile than standard spec and will in theory fit. So, this is a possible option.
Your opinions would be gratefully received!
Paul

Struggling to find a decent station to listen too when Im in the cave. Classic FM ahs too many adverts now now and I cant stand it when they speak at 500 words a minute at the end of the advert, utterly incomprehensible. Used to listen a lot to Radio 4, but jeez its been taken over by campaign groups for Womens this that and the other. Cant get through the day without another female focus group being created for sufferers of vaginal warts etc

Hello all,
So my first Post and seeking help! :rolleyes
Was involved in a RTA car pulls across my path to get into a side road. I had nowhere to go and effectively T-Bone the side of the car. Approx 30mph.
Front forks bent back a few inches/twisted but not as extreme as touching the radiator etc. However what symptoms should i be looking for concerning bent headstock or frame?
Dont want to commit to spending £100's putting a new front end on only to find there's a noticeable twist to the new forks/wheel due to hidden damage further back.
any feedback greatly appreciated.
(oh plus its a mk1 fazer).

| braided brake lines |

ok just been having a search around for some new brake lines (its about time i replaced them on the old girl)
and came across wezmoto , they seem ok and read a lot of reviews all over the place as when it comes to brakes i read everything i can on even the smaller companys (in case they aint had the good chances against HEL and GOODRIDGE)
they seem to do two kits for the fzs600 a OEM standard and a full length race kit (cheaper ?)
the only difference i can see is that OEM=4lines, RACE=3lines
i can only assume this is a duel banjo on the master cylinder and a line to each caliper for the race kit (positives and negatives on this)
i have contacted them to confirm if this is the case and dont mind if it is with my future plans but if you guys know anything please share your knowledge
i told them i am on here and doing install videos etc to let everyone know the difference so hopefully they should get back to me with everything we all need to know.

Hi all, just fitted my beemer rear shock to my Fazer thou, no problems apart from the top mounting bolt was a fecker to get off due to the frame & a rounded off nut due to the previous owner swapping from standard to Ohlins then back again when he flogged it. 10mm thread size & plenty on ebay but anyone know the pitch size? Cheers
