| Average speed cameras in North Wales |

Work started yesterday to install average speed cameras on an 11 mile stretch of the A5104 which runs between Pontblyddyn and Corwen. Work will be completed by February. I think that the 11 mile stretch they are referring to is between Llandegla and Corwen. There have been four fatal crashes and eighteen serious incidents in the past three years. This move follows other trials, such as cutting the speed limit, which have not delivered the expected results. I use this road two or three times a week. It used to be mostly a 60 mph road, then the limit was reduced to 50 mph. There are GoSafe detector vans regularly in attendance.
Anyway, take care everybody as I am sure that a lot of you will be using this stretch of road on your trips into North Wales.

| Battery Drain |

So, today, if time permits I intend to try and find the cause of my battery drain. The battery was new last year and seems to hold its charge well when on the bench.
Attached to the bike it drains much quicker. The bike is standard electrically apart from a 12v socket on the fairing infill and a double usb socket on the handlebars. Both those are wired directly to and from the battery.
Just wondering if anyone has found any other causes of battery drain on our fzs1000's?

Since ive had my Fazer (about 3 years now) I have never had a working Exup valve. I have gradually bought all the bits either new or good second hand, all apart from the main plate which holds everything in. CMSNL wanted €138 not including postage, and the wife refused to buy me parts for my bike for Christmas.
Well tonight I had one last trawl through Ebay to see if I could find one before I handed my card details over to CMSNL, and, success!!!
NOS £45 delivered from Northern Ireland. To say i'm chuffed is an understatement. Ive just got to find all the bits I've already bought so I can put it all together.
I hope after I put it all on and set it up, I notice the difference.
