192BHP from a MT10 - steve 10562cc - 27-01-18 Performance bikes worth a read on the192BHP, MT10RR awesome machine :evil Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - YamFazFan - 27-01-18 ..... https://www.performancebikes.co.uk/magazine-issues//february-2018 Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - Freck - 27-01-18 Shame it looks like a Decepticon :lol Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - steve 10562cc - 27-01-18 Who cares what it looks like if it rides as good as they say I'd love to own and ride one. Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - Dudeofrude - 27-01-18 Well if it rides anything like the standard MT-10 then ill stick my Fz1. It's not that it's bad it just isn't good enough to warrant the price. If anything it felt tamer than the Fz And let's be fair 192bhp is just pointless on a naked bike. It's hard enough to hold on with 150 Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - stet - 28-01-18 (27-01-18, 05:32 PM)steve 10562cc link Wrote: Performance bikes worth a read on the192BHP, MT10RR awesome machine :evil There is also a feature on tuning the FZ1 gen2 (page 81)! Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - steve 10562cc - 28-01-18 Perhaps I should have left the own bit out. Got no complaints about my FZ1 gen2. Would it be possible to stay on that MT10 flat out and no fairing Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - robbo - 31-01-18 Bought the mag just for the cover pic. That looks the dogs. You'd have to spend some serious time in the gym to do it justice, it's brutal. Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - Dudeofrude - 02-02-18 Just read the Fz1 article and saw that the bike they nodded had pretty much all the same engine mods as mine ( even had the same paint scheme ?) but there's was dyno'd at 153 bhp and mine was last done at 146bhp. The only difference they had was the dynojet ignition module. Do they really make that much of a power gain? Don't worry I'm not rushing out to buy one, 146rwhp is plenty for me, I'm just curious ? I don't know about that, but atmospheric conditions and even different dynos can give different results. Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - stet - 02-02-18 Hmm, there's not much of the MT10 left in the MT10RR: just the frame and seat, and that has a cover on it. Even the R1 clutch has been changed to hydraulic operation. Engine: modded R1 (2015 on) Exhaust: SC Projects titanium 4:2:1 Radiator: custom water and oil cooling EFI: modded R1 Electronics: R1 Swing arm: R1M Rear shock: TTX36 Forks: FGR300 Wheels: OZ forged titanium Quick-shifter: Teller Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - Dudeofrude - 02-02-18 (02-02-18, 09:03 PM)Skippernick link Wrote:
I don't know about that, but atmospheric conditions and even different dynos can give different results.
Yeah I suppose there is that and I know the one I use reads more accurate than most. Guy Martin uses it for his bikes and his Honda team have even used it a few times to calibrate his race bike. I have heard that the one down the road from me reads a few bhp higher Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - Mick-H - 03-02-18 I'm getting old, if it'd been 192 mpg I'd have been more I intrested Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - steve 10562cc - 03-02-18 I'm 62 and 192bhp sounds good to me don't want to own it just ride it and hopefully bring us both back in one piece. Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - unfazed - 08-02-18 :agree and same age, I thought it looked cool and would definitely love a spin on it. ![]() Re: 192BHP from a MT10 - robbo - 08-02-18 I've got almost 10 years on you two whippersnappers :lol , but would love to have a whizz on that although upper body strength would be a problem. The pic is on my garage wall. Love it. |
