Inhave a 2005 FZS1000. Ive had it for 10 years and done only oil changes. Mileage only 5500. It lives a pampered life in a nice warm garage. Mintish condition.
I’ve toyed with changing but its a superb machine.
Anyway I want to get it fully serviced and cabs checked etc. Anyone recommend a decent mechanic in the Huddersfield area?

Hello All.
I am going to take my bike for servicing but I am buying the parts before. On the parts shop they told they have different fuel filters and they are asking me which one I want. They told me to send them a picture of it, but I don´t know where to find it. (I just bought the bike recently).
Can you tell me where to find the fuel filter or where to find the specifications for it?
My Bike is a 1998-1999 Fazer.
Thanks
Miguel

Morning all, this is my first post on this forum having recently bought a fzs600 2003 so hello from me... ?...it needs a fair amount of cosmetic work which I’m in the process of but my question to anyone who knows is.... I’ve bought some slightly smaller none led indicators, connected up the front... all works ok but as soon as I connect up just one of the rear the flash rate dramatically increases.... any ideas?

When taking the tank off today I went to remove the fuel pipe. I opened up the clip with some pliers and pulled the pipe and the whole metal tube it came out of the bottom of the tank rather than just rubber tube coming off.
Do I just push this little connector back in or should I glue it? Has anyone else had this happen? It's a first for me I must say.

Hello, I joined this online club (I also joing the other one I'm afraid as well!) because I recently purchased an unfinished Malone F1000 that has a 2002 Yamaha Fazer engine installed.
This is my first post and relates to the issue of integrating a motorcycle wiring loom with the separate demands of a made to measure car loom. Once finished I won't have the Fazer instruments nor the handlebar switches, headlamp looms and main key. Also because of the nature of the vehicle I don't want any circuits like sidestand, lean or clutch switches.
It would certainly make the wiring easier and simpler if it was possible to eliminate the Starting Circuit Cutoff Relay, though looking at the wiring diagram this seems difficult. A Google search reveals a few people who have given it a go, but then given up. By any chance has anyone on here needed or wanted to remove theirs?
Cheers
Philip
