Who do you use please people?

Carb rubbers look a bit cracked, doubt they've gone through but never know until I remove them. So going to look into price of replacements.

I've just got the Fazer, want some pics / advice for lowering and probably changing the bars for something less high and turned back at the ends please.

I am used to R1s and the like, but I think the best height of bars on any bike I've had was my ZX9R.

Anyone help me out with advice on how to cheaply lower the bars with different spacers from another make/type of bike?

Have looked at some old posts about certain Renthal bars which is interesting too, but all I can find are spacer to LIFT the bars and not lower....

Hi all, just joined to glean some knowledge and have a browse of your bikes etc.

I have had about 20 bikes in the past 6 years, and have just settled on a Gen 1 Fazer 1000, 2001 model.
It has 20k on the clock, mainly standard apart from an end can. Only bought it yesterday, seems fine, brakes are crap,  :eek  suspension settings still standard  :eek  but it goes like stink and is very easy to ride, quite a compliment seeing as I only sold a 2003 R1 on Friday.

If anyone else is from Kent and has a slightly modded Fazer, I'd love to meet up at some point for a chat and a ride. I am not far (enough) from Dover... I am the wrong side of 35 too!

Went on short local ride yesterday (no time as usual) and back brake was stuck on with caliper smoking! Left to cool and managed to limp home using front brake (scary). Jet washed her the week prior so probably my own stupid fault. Any ideas on how to fix/remedy? :\

is the gear lever rubbers on the fz6 same as xj900,trx850,xj600,xjr1200,fjr1300 if so i can get them off fleabay as needed soon for the bike :lol

Theres  a guy at work selling an 09 R1 and Im seriously thinking about buying it to raz around on  sunny days for a couple of hours  whilst still using the fazer for long distances, two up, touring, town work, all day stuff.

Is there enough differnce to consider it???

Hi guys, just wondering if the tank on the FZS600 1998 is vacuum or not. I want to remove the tank to get at the speedo thing under there but i don't want petrol pissing everywhere.

Any help greatly appreciated
