Anyone got anything on one of these schemes?
I'm thinking once the loan on my bike is paid off, it would be a good way of trying out some new bikes again. A Triumph dealer was telling me about it, and have just read an article in one of the bike mags too. Wouldn't want my only bike on the scheme, as I don't want to be limited on the mileage I can do, but like I said, once mine is paid off......

I have always used Richa gear. My last purchase was about 15 months ago when I bought some Memphis Trousers. They have a separate waterproof zip out and removable warmers.
The waterproof liner has frayed in the crotch. The rest of the trousers are perfect but now they are not waterproof. I have emailed retailer, Richa and their distributors and all say tuff, how long do you want us to warranty these trousers for? I am fed up chasing them so aside of telling you all the Richa gear should be avoided because their customer care is SHIT, can anybody recommend a pair of quality waterproof trousers that don't make me look like a space man?
I wear them all year round, I need removable warmers, pockets and something with a bit of style not two pieces of material straight down forming the legs.

Make this bike too hot to handle peeps This bike was a gift from Kawasaki to Shayne Byrne for winning the Superbike Championship last year. It is a work of art and tricked up to its eye balls (full works spec). It even has Shakeys name and number engraved on the frame ! After be...ing pestered for a long time shakey finally agreed to sell it to a close friend. Last night His friend collected the bike and stored it lovingly in his garage. Only to find this morning some thieving little scumbag broke into his garage and stole it ! Please share this so we can catch the w***ers !!! Hi folks.
I have an odd noise on my 03 fazer 600 - its like a bit of a rattly noise that increases in severity as you accelerate, then goes away when you get up to certain revs. Either that or its drowned out by the Beowulf.
I don't think its the cam chain, as I've had that before on a superdream and that rattled way worse than this, and also at a standstill. was proper rough.
I've checked the drive chain tension and it seems to be OK to me, got about an inch of play in total up and down? I'm going to try pushing the bike without the engine running see if it still makes the noise - which would hopefully indicate whether its the engine or something else. admittedly I hadn't thought of that yet. only other thing I can think of is the rear hugger might be a bit loose and rubbing against the rear tyre, but I would have seen signs of damage/wear to the hugger i'd have thought.
I appreciate the awkwardness of this request - as its difficult to describe a noise over the internet, and as it doesn't do it unless I'm riding I can't "record" it as such. but any ideas or at least reassurance that its likely to be something minor would be nice.
I should note that the bike still runs and rides perfectly fine with no noticeable adverse effects.
