Now wearing a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Road 3's. These tyres are highly rated and i've read that they are the best for this model of bike.
The bike rides faultlessly and being black it is different to all the red and white ones that are available.
Only selling to fund a classic bike. Bike is located in South Devon and any inspection is welcome.
Have a look on a certain auction website and you will see that this is the best value 2006 CB1300 available at this time by far.
I may possibly be interested in a px deal with a lower value machine.
Ho hum.
Shoulder op has left me unable lift a muck loaded trowel above my head, but can still lay up to chest height ok. So..a cunning plan. Just do garden walls for a year or so until it hopefully gets full movement back. I let the missus sort out the details, she said " P.R.Allen brickwork and garden walls sound crap, but I've got a catchy idea.."
Paul's walls. Ho bloody ho. She's probably right though. She ordered some magnetic signs for the van, and designed them herself. When they turned today, there's me on a scaffold last year building an extension in market deeping. Very weird having a photo of yourself on your van. Bizarre in fact. " but I look as if I have breasts in that photo. And, I ain't wearing me hard hat, hi viz etc that I obviously always wear ahem."
"Nope" she said, " it's perfect, you look like an old school friendly builder" we shall see
Paul's walls it is then. I'm tidying up the old sprinter as I go, hopefully that's got a few years left in it. Hopefully I have too...
My sidestand seems to have quite a bit of lateral play at it's pivot. When I park up and put the sidestand down, it "gives" slightly so that the bike rests at a steeper angle. Everything seems secure and it's been like this since I bought the bike 3yrs ago, but wondered if this is happening because it's excessively worn or whether it's a design feature.
Hi Again all

hello, just been looking at my fazer 1000 that had trouble selecting gears and found that a spring had snapped so i need a new spring and a gasket found a pic on the old forum
Hi I am just about to order a long reach socket / wrench for extracting the plugs on my FZS600 yr 2000. I'm away from the bike right now but want to order the wrench this afternoon. I think the standard plug hex size is 16mm. Is that right?
My bikes broken
its something to do with charging the battery.
if i start the bike and then disconnect the battery it cuts out.
tested the resistance of the alternator coils and all three are reading at 0.6 ohms (the spec is 3.36 - 4.4 ohms). this is out of spec, though all three are evenly so. There is no continuity to earth.
Mr Haynes says i cant test the rectifier, i can either swap it for a known good one or take it to a yam dealer to do it.
So, just ordered a nice Motad/Venom downpipes/can system for the Fazer. Any tips for fitting?
Had a gander at the article on here, which was handy, but all the photos weren't working. Started dousing the header bolts in WD40 and penetrative spray, which I'll keep doing until weekend when I fit them. Really don't want bolts snapping, but they still look in pretty good nick visually. Hoping previously ACF50 treatment is going to pay off. Anything else I should know?
hello to all the europeans fazer fans!!
as i googled some things for my fazer i saw your forum and found out many interesting things about our moto....drive safe guys!!

The 2014 NW200 dates are 13th May Tuesday practice, 15th Thursday practice and 3 evening races, Main race day Saturday 17th May. There is currently or will be a bill in the Northern Ireland assembly to allow the race organisers to move race day to the Friday or the Sunday if the weather looks as if it will be bad on the Saturday. The same bill will be applied for the UGP so hopefully that will help.
