Waterproof Trousers - old son - 23-10-13 I have always used Richa gear. My last purchase was about 15 months ago when I bought some Memphis Trousers. They have a separate waterproof zip out and removable warmers. The waterproof liner has frayed in the crotch. The rest of the trousers are perfect but now they are not waterproof. I have emailed retailer, Richa and their distributors and all say tuff, how long do you want us to warranty these trousers for? I am fed up chasing them so aside of telling you all the Richa gear should be avoided because their customer care is SHIT, can anybody recommend a pair of quality waterproof trousers that don't make me look like a space man? I wear them all year round, I need removable warmers, pockets and something with a bit of style not two pieces of material straight down forming the legs. Re: Waterproof Trousers - keithfzs1000 - 23-10-13 yep draggind jeans so decent protection and if it not raining they are cool (as in not too warm lol), stylish and you dont mind walking around in them however under the seat for if it rains or looks like rain i put on a pair of http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPRAYWAY-Men-s-All-Day-Rainpant-/161133117707?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Sports_Clothing_LE&var=&hash=item258448410b never ever had any bother and always dry came from loch carron to newcastle 6 hrs in constant rain jeans were dry ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Waterproof Trousers - ogri48 - 23-10-13 Look good, pricy mind, but if they work, worth it. We all know that truly horrible moment you feel that cold wet trickle to your nuts as the rain finally gets through and you think " perhaps it's just the cold, the water can't have got in, can it?" Two minutes later it's a defiinate yes, five minutes later your knob feels like it's being dunked in ice cream. Not nice Re: Waterproof Trousers - mr self destruct - 23-10-13 (23-10-13, 10:46 AM)ogri48 link Wrote: your knob feels like it's being dunked in ice cream. Not nice I'll have to disagree with you there mate, don't knock it 'til you've tried it. ![]() Re: Waterproof Trousers - stevierst - 23-10-13 Aerostitch AD1 pants are what I use for my daily commute in all weathers. They have full length leg zips which means I can remove them in less than 10 seconds and be stood there in my work gear. Not cheap, but well worth the money. They're tough, gore-tex, and loadsa pockets on them. Have a look on the aerostitch website. |
