Posted by: Kimkt - 22-10-16, 08:08 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (11)

Stripping the bike that is ?
Having a broken fairing that i'm planning to replace with a triumph triple round headlights or a single one or a "streetfighter"  look light with fairing.

Need info on bracket for the speedometer etc. And also where to get a tidy tail bracket.

Have searched the forum, but couldn't find the info i'm looking for.

The bike is a 98 ?

  Stunt practise spots

Quick question to fellow bikers Smile

The Santa Pod Raceway is a bit far away from me, do you know any legal places (may be with paid entry) where one could have some stunt tricks practise (wheeles, stoppies, etc.)
around SW London / Surrey area?

I just switched from Virago 535 witch isn't a stunter choice really Wink So I want to have some practise on fazer, and get to know the bike better Big Grin

EDIT:

This is what I found on Google:http://www.stuntasylum.com The operate on the Dunsfold Park a.ka Top Gear Test track it's a full day course ~£200

  Exup servo pulley - lubricate?
Posted by: Jagman - 20-10-16, 10:57 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (6)

Finally got rid of a persistent EXUP error reading after several adjustments of the cables... but noticed the servo pulley looks heavily rusted. Would spraying it with WD40 damage cable traction on the pulley?

Posted by: cl1ve2004 - 20-10-16, 03:20 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (1)

looking for an exup valve as mine is shot to buggery (posted today in fazer 1000)

possibly need downpipes as well (gotta crack in rear fixing point)..

Anybody got a valve for sale (as a starting point) or possibly decent downpipes with valve???

With the research I have done here (thank goodness for this site)I think the R1 1999 valve will fit so another option
possibly??

Cheers Clive

  LED bulbs?
Posted by: Fazer99 - 20-10-16, 11:54 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (7)

Hi all,

As we all know the head lights on the BOXEYE fazers are crap and as I don't feel confident in doing the modifcation as shown in a thread on this wonderful forum I'm looking at the cheaper option of LED bulbs just until I can build up funds and go all out and get the lights changed to these fantastic projector kits: https://www.retrofitlab.com/en/motor-1/y...mh1-1.html

My question is (as I have spent the last week or 2 trying to find simple replacement LED design bulbs) can any of you wonderful people that know this kind of thing show me what LED bulbs to get that are a simple swap over from the standard bulbs?

As I've seen thousands, but with different watts and I have no FOCCING idea what watt I need in LED format. All I want is brighter lights to get me through the winter until I can get those projector headlights.

Thank you in advance for any help you wonderful people provide  Big Grin
