Lembus Opitk!!!
The basic premise I agree with: Segregated cycle lanes usually make motorcycling on those routes more dangerous. Travelling west from Oxford Street to South Ken used to be a breeze via North Carriageway Drive. Now I'm stuck to Park Lane or Bayswater road. Then over the serpentine the road is so narrow I cannot filter very easily (so stay in with the traffic or take risks)
But why the hell didn't MAG stick to facts instead of then going on to accuse cycle infrastructure of bringing London to a standstill?
In some cases the cycle provision helps, where road furniture is removed from the cetnre line!

my brakehose snappet on the fzs 600, did fall on my aprilia while i tried to pull it on the centerstand, it fell on my Aprilia and maybe stretched the brakehose(?) cause the next day when my GF rode of to work she suddenly lost her frontbrakes while driving the next day after the centerstand accident.
a local guy here has some steel braided hoses from a fzr 1000, could theese fit the fzs 600? or else i have to wait 1-2 weeks from Ebay..

| Power Restriction: Carbs (A2 Licence) |

Now for something different friends (=I can't yet find it on topic search).
I've purchased a FZS600 (2000) that has 'Plates fitted restricting the diameter of the inlet manifolds' last year as the previous owner then had an A2 licence.
I have found this quite useful so far as I am first giving the machine a thorough service, tyres, chain and sprockets etc; but would want to remove the restriction at some time.
Either way, I'm generally interested in the topic (and of course realise that less suck = less bang = less power at the wheel) and wondered if anyone else has had these installed (I have the certificate) and has anyone removed them themselves. If so, can the plates be removed without removing the carbs completely.
(I have noted that the person who did this work refitted the tank mounting bracket and spacer rubber incorrectly. I wonder what else might be wrong.)

[/size]Thanks.

Hi all.
Got my fazer 3 weeks ago and I have noticed that more often than not if I use the pass button or turn the dip beam on or use the pass with the lights on the dash will trip out and come back again. Doesn't effect the running of the engine. Found dead today that if I held the pass button the dash stayed blacked out while the button was held. Again didn't effect running. I've removed the nose, pulled all the plugs under the tank, cleaned a few of them, cleaned the left hand switch gear but it is still doing it. Could it be a sticky relay? If so where is the light relay located? Could try feel one working when I operated the lights.
Any advice please?
