  Tank fixings
Posted by: bryaneidins - 28-11-16, 02:04 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (5)

Hi Guys,

Where the petrol tank bolts down at the front of the bike, is there meant to be any sort of rubber between the tank lug and the frame work?

Kind Regards
Bryan

For Sale : FZS1000 Gen 1 Front Brake Calipers
Posted by: dannymassive - 28-11-16, 01:16 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (7)

Pair Of Front Blue Spot Brake Calipers - Reasonable Condition - Could do with a good clean! One is missing the pad pin and spring. Despite the photos showing a pad spring and pin missing, I have now found these so they are complete with the exception of the small pin retaining clips, which are pence to obtain. £45 for both.

Hell folks. Just checking in.

My name is Kye. It is my first name. I passed my DAS a little over a week a go and bought myself a 2008 S2 on Saturday. I take delivery of it tomorrow or Wednesday. Aside the cold, I can't
wait to get out on it!

Exciting time!

Take it easy

Kye

An opposite thread to the "What Gets My Goat" one.

I'll start it off...

Those new sweeping Audi indicators that light from one side of the unit across to the other. I think they look great 8)

Fazer 1000 Gen 1 for sale 3000 miles Immaculate
Posted by: SkidT - 27-11-16, 07:17 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (23)

Greetings All,

First of all this bike is nothing at all to do with me. Whilst the dealer may be geographically near me in Reading, I have no idea where (at the moment).  Big Grin

I just thought that all you fellow Gen1 owners / enthusiasts might enjoy having a look at it. Surely this must be the best low mileage Gen1 available anywhere?

Please let us all know if one of you buys it. Enjoy!  Smile

  For sale, fzs600 2002.
Posted by: Kenbob - 27-11-16, 04:35 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (18)

hi all.
Just throwing this in here for interested parties but not at all bothered if it doesn't sell.
For sale is my 2002 foxeye fazer in the fastest colour (blue).
It has recently fitted new chain and sprockets, new front pads, just had carb balance.
Rear calliper was stripped and cleaned last year and is peachy smooth
It has motad stainless Downpipes and motad venom end can recently fitted and also a Scottoiler recently added.
She has done 26500  miles but this could go up as I still use her.
She really is a cracking bike all be it a bit dirty as cleaning bikes this time of year is not a priority
Just ordered a tub of vulcanet so if any of you want to visit, she will be clean.
Looking for £1450.
Oh yes it does have mot, which is nice.

  Immobiliser
Posted by: Grant1Shepherd - 27-11-16, 02:37 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Hi guys

So I saw this immobiliser on eBay (I'm interested in putting remote start on my bike) and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were? does anyone have any experience which these sort of things on a FZS600? Would it actually be that good for the bike considering the bike and battery are a bit older than most bikes?

Just any tips or advice would be much appreciated as always guys. Link in below
