Unstable / Unhappy Idle when engine semi-warm

So for the past few months my bikes not been entirely happy, fuel mileage has dropped and this irregular idle problem has come out of nowhere. When starting the bike while the engine is still warm, but not at full operating temperature, for instance leaving it off for 5 minutes and starting it again, I get a very unhappy idle. The engine sounds unhealthly making a loping sort of sound as the idle drops down to 900, sometimes 800 odd, then bouncing back to 1200, then 1100 etc. When fully up to temperature, my idle steadies off and idles between 1200-1260 or 1260-1320 and sounds fine. On a cold warm up the idle starts off at about 1400, then after a minute runs up at 1600-1700 before getting somewhere in the middle and up to temp. It feels like the high idle is cutting off too early / before the engine is actually up to temperature and it's trying to idle normally without the engine temperature.I've included a video here: https://youtu.be/mK4gB4TC2kMSo far I have done the following try solve the issue, Changed Spark Plugs, Changed Oil, Changed Air Filter, Synced throttle bodies, Upped the idle and played around with CO settings, all with no luck. Anyone had experience of this / know what it is?

Repainting the front of the engine.

At some point in the near future I'm going to be taking the exhaust and radiator off to repaint the front of the engine, do they all flake badly at the front? I had briefly considered removing the engine but it's a lot of arsing about so I'll just everything mask off. The front support bracket could also do with tidying up, So I was wondering, it looks like if I support the engine and take the bolts out, the bracket can be wiggled free and taken out. Does anyone know if this is possible?

New vibration problem

Hi All,
I have a problem with vibrations between 4k and 5900 rpm...yes that accurate :eek
Any ideas what is wrong ? It was runnng fine until recently and I haven't changed or done anything to it. Vibrations are coming through the bars, footrests and frame / tank. The bike has no fairing and the indicators are non-standard and the carbs were balanced recently. The bar end weights are on and to improve the footrests I bolted on some steel bits at the ends...I thought that if it works with handlebars it was worth a try. Seems strange that at 5900 rpm and above it is like someone is switching off the vibes so that there are no vibrations at all.
Any ideas where to look?

looking for a suitable single headlight HID

Whilst Im still sat around unable to ride, I may as well start putting my time to productive use and start thinking about how Im putting the Fazer back on the road.
The front fairing is smashed to bits. And lets face it the standard lights on the boxeye are crap anyway. Silver lining to every cloud and all that, its a blank canvas for upgrading. Im going to naked it and put a single headlight on it. But I want something that gives a decent amount of light compared to the stock lights, and will pass an MOT.
Theres so many different types of "universal" headlight out there, and they all look like bargain basement Chinese ebay jobbies that will undoubtedly either not work, suck, or fail an MOT.
Instead of "universal" should I be looking at a particular bike that does naked headlights well? I do like the look of an FZ6n single headlight, but dont know if I want to spend £150+ on one.
Ideally Id quite like to do an HID or LED upgrade too because I love how they look, but I know next to nothing about HID, the regulations regarding aftermarket ones and MOTs etc, I know Ill need to get some sort of projector for it to pass an MOT(?), but dont know what I need and what will fit. There seems to be plenty of LED/HID headlight units out there already but they all look crap, aimed at Harley riders or Chinese junk that will fall apart/catch fire.
So has anyone got any recommendations for a suitable headlight that fits what I need? Or a list of what I'll need to make an HID/LED work? Preferably round, or similar, I dont like the look of square/rectangle headlights.

I'm looking for a handlebar mounted phone holder so I can use it as a sat nav on my occasional adventures. I've looked around the Web but they all look rather flimsy? Most of them are just 4 prongs that grip the corners of the phone?
Ive never used one before but I was expecting something that covers the whole phone or at least clamps it in? I just imagine going a bit fast or hitting a big bump and seeing my phone flying past me haha
So does anyone have any experience with them or make any recommendations as to which ones to look at?
Cheers
