Gearbox removal
Posted by: Frasier - 20-09-23, 02:17 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (9)

Dear experts, I have to take out the gearbox, it seems. The question is: if I take the engine out of the frame, is it possible to remove the lower half of the engine, and take out the gears WITHOUT removing the cylinders, pistons, cyl.head etc.? Thank you in advance.

Fazer 800 Running issue - With video
Posted by: Jhooch - 20-09-23, 11:01 AM - Forum: Fazer 8 / FZ8 - Replies (7)

Hi guys!

Looking for some input on an issue I have with my 2012 Yamaha Fazer 800 14,00 miles. I bought it with the issue I’m trying to fix. I have no history on the bike, the dealer I bought it from couldn’t fix it.

Check out the video of my issue - http://youtu.be/50X8uXyvpzE?si=qrf3s8njx5ULxREP

Originally the fuel pump would be working all the time when you key on, then while running it would have inconsistent revs as shown. With the fuel pump relay not switching off, I fixed this buy getting a used ECU. I thought perhaps it would fix both issues but it didn’t. (I haven’t yet flashed this ECU to my lockset, I’m using an emulator until I can actually get the bike running correctly)

I have no fault codes on the dash, and I have tested the following.

 • Intake Air Pressure Sensor
 • Air Temp Sensor
 • Cam sensor
 • Crank Sensor
 • TPS
 • Secondary TPS
 • All 4 coils
 • Atmospheric pressure Sensor
 • Fuel pump pressure (Sits a 3.0 bar while the issue is happening)
 • Fuel pressure regulator (Changed it just to be sure)
 • Engine Temp Sensor (As shown the revs do come down as the bike gets hotter)
 • Balanced the throttle bodies (Spot on, no need to adjust)

All parts are within spec or either operate to the genuine manual.
Diag tests on the speedo all show and work correctly.
The spark plugs are sooty, so it looks like it’s over fuelling. The bike as far as I know is completely standard. Has standard exhaust, air filter and as both ECUs are showing the same symptoms, I doubt they have been both mapped.

But as the video shows the tacho jumping everywhere, it does feel like it’s missing, pointing to an electrical fault. But with all plugs being sooty, I can see a plug/coil braking down.
I have already checked multiple forums for a fault like this but had no luck.

Is this an issue with Fazers you seen before?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, maybe I’m being a fool and missing something obvious here!

FZ1 stock radiator guard: How do I remove it
Posted by: b1k3rdude - 15-09-23, 05:30 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - No Replies

So the paint on the bottom of the radiator is flaking away and before the alloy starts irrevocable corroding I would like to paint it. As its only the botom I can paint/touch it up in-situ, but to do that I need the oem rad guard out of the way.

I wasnt able to see any screws on the guard only on the rad side panels, but watching this cool mod video its look like there are only 2 screws that hold it on?

Is this plug connector part of the factory loom?
Posted by: dv12 - 15-09-23, 02:33 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

I've owned my bike for over a year and she's running great. However this alarm looking thing is annoying me. The wires were untidy, that fob looking thing was cable tied to the handlebars and there are some twisted together wired horrors hiding under wraps of black tape. The plug in the picture looks like its part of the main loom?
Anyone know if its an aftermarket thing?

FOR SALE: Yoshimura Tri Oval Busa End Cans unboxed
Posted by: Gnasher - 14-09-23, 03:06 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

As mentioned in the Hayabusa 06 post these are the unboxed pair of 2 pairs of end cans.  These were fitted to the bike when her husband bought the bike and replaced with the boxed pair.

The unboxed set.

There're are small marks and dents on both cans unlike the boxed pair there's no damage to the over banding areas If you know anything about these you'll know they can be completely disassembled and rebuilt.  All the dents could be removed and all parts polished.  Another option it to buy these and the boxed set and build a pair from the 2 sets, job done.  These are straight fit for 99 -07 Busa's they could possibly fit others in the Gixxer range or other bikes with a mounting rings she's looking for £150 plus postage at cost.

If you bought both sets you'd get a good as new pair for less than half the cost of new Wink

Posted by: Gnasher - 14-09-23, 02:44 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

As mentioned in the Hayabusa 06 post these are the the boxed pair of 2 pairs of end cans.  These were fitted to the bike at some point.

The boxed set.

These are complete with all the packaging and the 2 road baffles.  There're slight marks on both cans and on the RH can what looks like either something has knocked into or the bike scraped into a wall/door way, there is a tightish gate way into her garden were the bike was kept, or it's been knocked over.  If you know anything about these you can obtain the over banding strip from the importer, de-rivet the damaged one, reprofile/polish the end cap, refit the new banding, job done.

These are straight fit for 99 -07 Busa's they could possibly fit others in the Gixxer range or other bikes with a mounting rings she's looking for £450, plus postage at cost.

Design and Print Trendy POD T-Shirts: Your Ultimate Fashion Canvas

In today's fashion outlook, POD T-shirts have changed how people brand their style, providing different outlets to showcase their creativity and distinctiveness. They allow one to change a simple garment into a medium of self-expression and, thus, everyday clothing into personalized statements. Unleashing Your Creativity in POD Tee

It is the fuel that gets one's creative juices flowing to design POD T-shirts. That initial spark may come from personal experiences, cultural influences, and the zeitgeist. Other times, it is easy: unbeknownst beautiful views of nature or cities that inspire designs. Alternatively, emotions and feelings present in music and literature may set things in motion.

Others drive with themes of nostalgia, dark or light humor, or social commentary to ignite innovative design inspiration. Whatever the source of this inspiration—keeping your eyes and ears open to the world can bring authenticity and resonance to your work as a designer.

Designing a Pod T-shirt involves more detail than just developing an image onto fabric. A correctly done design addresses nuances such as appropriate color schemes, texture, and typography, which might form the foundation of visually exciting garments. Powerful contrasts will enhance readability and improve visuals, while gentle gradients will add depth and dimension.

This means setting a message or theme when choosing complementary fonts and graphical elements. Suppose the designer can skillfully represent whatever intended artistic vision is aimed to be portrayed through these elements. In that case, designers can develop aesthetically pleasing and formidable POD T-shirts.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

The most crucial procedure in the process after design is printing. It dictates the quality and durability intervals of the POD T-shirt. Most Print On Demand companies, like Lion King Tee Shirts, offer different printing techniques, each with pros. Accordingly, the most suitable printing method depends on the design's complexity, the nature of fabrics used, and finally, the finish one would desire. Coupled with this, high-quality inks and materials ensure your product looks great and can last everyday wear and repeated washing.

Customization Options

The genuine excellence of POD T-shirts is their unexcelled customization options, which allow the designer to create a personal tailor-made garment. Starting from the position of prints and their changeable color, a list of options allows designers to develop customized garments.
