Is this plug connector part of the factory loom? - dv12 - 15-09-23 I've owned my bike for over a year and she's running great. However this alarm looking thing is annoying me. The wires were untidy, that fob looking thing was cable tied to the handlebars and there are some twisted together wired horrors hiding under wraps of black tape. The plug in the picture looks like its part of the main loom? Anyone know if its an aftermarket thing? Re: Is this plug connector part of the factory loom? - unfazed - 15-09-23 Not part of the original loom, It is the socket for a Meta Alarm Re: Is this plug connector part of the factory loom? - dv12 - 15-09-23 Great to know. Thank you. I saw on the haynes wiring chart there was an optional alarm plug. Wondered was it this. I think ill remove the siren, and that fob, solder the twisted wires and tuck it away. Re: Is this plug connector part of the factory loom? - b1k3rdude - 15-09-23 How is the bike working at all with the meta head unit not present...? That and the 2x exposed wires need to be covered up, as you dont know where they are terminating.
