I have just acquired a slightly neglected '99 FZS600 MOT failure (tyre and a leaky carb) 'cos it was too cheap to pass up.
Never had a Fazer before so I will probably be asking the usual questions. I've had a Divi 600 and a TDM850 of similar vintage in the past and currently ride a Versys 650 but don't hold it against me.

I recently got FZS 600 (2001) and i almost got killed by the terrible front lights. So i decided to purchase Philips X-treme Vision Moto and Osram Night Breaker Laser as low and high beam replacement.
However a friend warned me that I might get the electronics damaged that way, so the question is, can i directly swap them without anything additional, or there is more to be done ? And how much improvement i can expect. Thanks in advance
Hiya all, Im selling my Fazer1000 digi dash, its the one that fit in the original clocks, replacing the fuel gauge. It comes complete with the R/H switchgear which includes the toggle button to change the display.You probably already know these are discontinued, no longer available, so getting very rare.Pic shows digi dash in my clocks, but it will be removed .Pic 3 shows my tftprojectdash, which is not for sale, but looks cool yeah!

can anyone tell me how much the digi dash made by CVeith cost? Its the one the sits in the original dash in place of the fuel gauge.

I should say I may have one to sell, including R/H switchgear, which has toggle button installed to change display. So really I wanna know what its worth? Bearing in mind they are no longer available, just trying to get idea of value, or what its worth to prospective buyer!

Does anyone know where to sell air weapons? All now sold
These aren't mine, they did belong to the ladies husband who's RD and Blade I posted in the for sale section, a few weeks back. She has 3 Webley Vulcans rifles, 2 Webley Tempest pistols and a 1930's BSA all .22. I know the approximate value of them but she'll accept any reasonable offers.
This is way beyond me not interested in this sort of thing in the slightest.

1-2 is out of balance with 3-4. Anti clockwise on the centre screw should help with that, but it doesn't. I've screwed it right out to where the screw is wobbling as it's lose in the seat. Turning it the other way Makes 1-2 bog and ultimately the engine stall.
I can't get 3-4 to shift at all, they're up at the top of the gauge always. They respond normally to throttle, coming down before easing back up. Choke brings 3-4 down a bit, and 1-2 isn't changed much. They looked roughly equal on the eye test before I put them in, just open on the tickover.
I can't get the tickover down below 2.5, I think I'm right out on the tickover adjuster too.
Any suggestions before I pull the carbs out and have a look to see whats up? Things to look at when I do? Bit of crap stuck under one of the butterflys I see as a maybe, can't think of anything else.
The background: carbs are a different set to what was in a week ago, cleaned. I balanced the old carbs only 3 weeks ago, no issues. I've got new spark plugs in. New carb inlet rubbers. Exhaust headers reseated. New coolant, new oil. Coolant rubbers and rad replaced.
