why does the 3rd cylinder show low compression (70 psi) and the others are good (200-210 psi) on 2 different mk1 600 fzs engines all are cold readings as engines are not in bikes

hi all, anyone know what the engine cylinder compression test should be in psi for a good engine, ive done the test cold on s/hand engines i have bought before fitting in the bike, but so far the reading on 2 engines both show the 3rd cylinder is about 50psi less than the other 3 ?, thanks for any help

Wanted, Fazer 8 rear mudguard |

Hi, my Fazer 8 is fitted with an R&G tail tidy, but as I'm an all year round rider, I want the added protection of the rear mudguard.
Has anyone fitted a tail tidy and want to sell their original mudguard?

So I test rode an FZ8 today as I was thinking of chopping in my FZS.
It was pretty awful, it was to top heavy as in the front end and it handled like crap.
Has anyone else rode one and what do you think?
Not sure if it was just a duff one but I was shocked how much I hated it.
Shame it looked awesome.

Stator rotor |

Thinking of buying an FZ8 , it’s a Cat N had minor damage all repaired seems lime a bargain, full luggage , black 24000 miles and good history. Only thing is they don’t know if the Stator , Rotor has been done. If it hasn’t how critical is it at this mileage and how much is it likely to cost to replace.
Currently have an FZS 600.
Cheers!

**SOLD** - Universal Motorcycle Side Stand Prong |

I purchased this recently in an attempt to make using the side stand on my FZ6S easier. Every other bike I've owned has always had a little prong welded on near the foot of the stand, and I've found it a bit awkward twisting my foot to get a toe or heel in the right place to flick the stand down in one swift/smooth movement, especially when wearing my Alpinestars boots. Anyway, this prong works a treat, but on the FZ6S, the bracket of the prong catches on the centre stand, preventing the side stand from fully retracting. So not ideal, and hence it's for sale.
However, it really does make a difference if you find it difficult to put the side stand down, or up, whilst sitting on your bike, especially if wearing sports-style boots, it's just more suited to bikes without a centre stand fitted.
The item is listed on eBay (£8.00 inc P&P):
