All right chaps and chapettes,
I have a UK market bike in Ireland (2005 Gen 1 FZS), with the speedo in km/h and the odometer in miles.
Is it possible to switch the odometer to kilometres too?
I have a PDF of the manual and function isn't mentioned.
I can set the clock with the Select and Reset button at the same time option, but nothing seems to get you into the ODO functions.
Cheers,
LD

Heading off on Friday. Trip to include the B500 through the Black Forest and a few days in Switzerland. All booked to that point, will see what comes next. Maybe Italy, but depends on the weather. Too hot could be as off-putting as too wet!

Had to nip out at lunchtime and thought I would take teh FZS600 as it is now taxed. As I approached a set of lights , and several cars back, a brand new Audi TT was at the front and went for it when the lights changed only to have to brake for the next set. What did I do??
I filtered up to the front and left him spinning his wheels scrabbling for grip the next time the lights changed as I left him behind :rollin
My £450 bike beats your £50K TT :rollin

Just got back from our tour around Scotland & every now & then when I grab a handful & start coming down the box I keep hearing what I can only describe as a high pitched squeal ! It's intermittent so hard to pinpoint where it's coming from. My obvious thought is the brakes but don't think it is that. Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Front Pads Binding |

I changed my front pads recently, but accidentally popped one of the pistons out of the caliper whilst cleaning. I've bled the brakes and they're working fine, but the pistons refuse to retract and the pads are binding, so the wheel won't rotate freely.
I've come back from a 2000 mile European trip expecting it to have sorted itself, but no joy.
Any ideas what I can do to get the calipers to release?
Cheers
