HI, never had to claim for a bike but what are peoples experiences? Do they pay anywhere near the agreed value, how much are they to buy back?

Looks like BREXIT has struck again. :rolleyes  Don’t know if this is across the whole range but Yamaha have certainly increased the list price of the MT10.

MT10 is now £10,999 – that’s up a grand in one year. :eek
MT10 SP is now £13,699 (up 300 quid on it’s launch just a few months ago)

It can only get worse.

Also it seems the Bank of England is getting increasing nervous of the credit bubble, and in particular the PCP credit bubble.  Will we see an increase in the base rate before the end of the year?

today I  had my seat off whilst fitting a Scottoiler and when I put my seat back on it didn't fit all the way in, now the bugger won't come off again, it's like the lock has jammed, anybody have a solution to my problem.

Hi, got into a SMIDSY a few weeks back... need some forks or a good set of stanchions if anyone has any?

Hello all,

I removed my front fairing, speedo, headlights and changed handlebars today.

All went smoothly until I went to start it and nothing happened.  Tried for another 30 secs and it finally worked and off I went, bike seemed to be running well and all electrics working.

Got home and starting issue is still there, will not respond to start button but eventually will start.  I have a look at the starter relay and undo the two bolts and positive battery terminal (I should have undone negative too, doh) one of the starter relay terminals drops onto the positive terminal, sparks and bike turns over a couple of times til I knock it away.

Put it all back together and now I have no electrics to lights indicators etc. Took battery out and when on charger it states flat battery, start charger and it shows full battery, turn off drops back to flat battery.

So have I cooked my battery?

What could have caused the first starting problem? Should i replace the starter relay?

Checked all fuses and none blown.
