Good afternoon
Few months ago I bought a 1999 fzs600 was fine. Now I seem to be loosing water. Done the obvious external checks. Now I took a plug out and there was water on it so thinking the head gasket which I will do, but for now was wondering if anyone has used the head gasket sealer which goes into the radiator. Just as a temporary measure.
Look forward to your reply’s.

On the 30th July 23 TRIGGER51 wrote about a wind noise coming from the front, suspected wheel bearings . I had checked, bearings, calipers, speedo drive, rad cover, mudguard, cables, brackets, inserts, you name it, i checked and cleaned where nessassary, plus a road test inbetween each job.
All to no avail, it was still there driving me nuts.
On the 31st BBROWN1644, repliedt to TRIGGER, possibly tyre, remove mudguard and test. It was a last ditch attempt, never thought it would work,.. it did, no noise....
The Bridgestone 023 has only done around 6000kms, I've has then on a Sprint, XJR1300, and now my Fazer without an issue, a great tyre, until now.....
I'm almost 80, had bikes since l was 16, worked on everyone I've ever owned, thought l knew most things, but, lesson learnt, always come on here first to see if someones had the same problems
So a thankyou to Tigger for posting, and BBrown for the answer....
Regards Fergie
Photo of my bike mad granddaughter, any excuse to get out on it

Hi everyone,
I own a Yamaha FZS600 Fazer (RJ02) and I’m interested in doing a rear conversion. I’d like to fit a different tail light and indicators (possibly from the RJ03 or an aftermarket solution).
Does anyone know where I can get a complete conversion kit or the necessary parts? I’m also wondering if these aftermarket tail lights and indicators usually come with an E-mark (E-approval number), since I want to make sure they are road legal.
Any recommendations or links would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Hi All, thinking of moving on from the FZS600 to an FZ8. Chap on Facebook is selling a 2012 one for £2700 and he's in my home town of Sittingbourne. FZ8SA
38000 miles.
comes with all keys inc red one and service history.
Oxford heated grips and R and G Tail tidy. MOT 14/07/26
seems to have a pipeworx exhaust
Not seen the reg number yet so not able to check MOT history.
What do you guys think? fair price? What am I looking out for if I go see it?
Only downside, it's slow blue (I've only every had red bikes before) Hoping the blue 800 will be the equivalent of a red 600 in terms of power ha ha

Hi Fokkers - bike has done just over 60,000 miles and downshifts are starting to get harder to engage. I've adjusted the clutch cable from the top adjuster so there is some but very little slack, I've also adjusted the lever span outwards so the cable is being pulled in a bit more. Is it time to replace the clutch or is there something else I should be looking at first?

Hi, I’m Domenik, 29 years young, from Germany. At the beginning of July this year, I bought myself a Yamaha Fazer RJ02 with 31,000 km on the clock. On the very first day after registering it, the engine blew. Cylinder 2 gave up.
So, I was faced with the choice: either sell it or rebuild it. In the end, together with a friend, I rebuilt the bike, replaced the engine, and changed various wear parts.
During this time, I also realized how difficult it can be to find tips and tricks, since the bike is already over 20 years old. That’s why I’m here — to exchange information and hopefully both get and give help.
