I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy company to overhaul my Ohlins rear shock. I have tried three times to contact K Tech but no response so they are off my list.
Anybody very impressed with anybody recently?

Hello fellow Foccers (that will never not give me a giggle)
Have noticed that on some occasions my clock has been reset on the bike earlier, it's happened once or twice while driving as well (clock+ODO reset, dashboard and gauges reset before returning to normal).
One morning it 'hung up' and repeated the initial startup where the clock blinks etc endlessly. No lights, seemed to have no or very low power. I left it for a while, treated it to some well chosen words, wiggled some wires etc, few mins later she's back to normal and I've not seen the issue again (5 days or so ago).
Since the bike's already not behaving 100% right I've been suspecting the regulator is failing. Normal problem on this island they say, as it's very dusty and very warm.
Anyone seen the same or similar problem on theirs?

| A rant about Bikesure 'Classic Insurance' policies |

After a year of being 'insured' by Bikesure (for my BSA) I decided to change to a different insurer for my new bike (not got it yet so no pics, and I've still got the Fazer!)
Going through the process of sending my NCD off to new insurer and I notice that Bikesure gave me 0 (zero) years NCD despite not having made any claims. Obviously I questioned this in an email.
Today I received a phone call from Bikesure to say that they don't give any NCD with 'Classic Insurance' - As far as I am concerned it wasn't made abundantly clear to me at the time so we had a long discussion about it.
It turns out that even if you started the policy with some NCD from your previous insurer by the time you've finished your year with Bikesure you won't have any NCD for your next year as you don't get any!
I have managed to get them to send me an email which stated that I haven't made any claim in the lifetime of the policy - but that is not the same thing as an actual NCD - I have sent this to my new insurer and I wait to see if they will accept it.
So, once again it is Buyer Beware.
I know some of you have 'Classic Insurance' policies with other insurance brokers and I urge you to look into what you are actually getting - I feel like I have got ripped off just because I didn't read all of the small print.
Pee'd off? Oh yeah, just a bit!

I found my old waterproofs in the back of a cupboard and will never wear them again as I sold the bike.
They are quilted inside for warmth and in reasonable used condition, size L, blue and grey. Dungaree and jacket two piece.Would suit despatch rider or maybe off road mudder?
Any offers???
Please email me DerekBenelisha@hotmail.com. I live just South of London.

Off to Ireland on Thursday for a wedding.
Looking warm, talk of a heat wave,
Do I wear my goretex textile kit, which is new so never worn in the summer it has vents etc, or leathers?
With the goretex I don't need to worry about rain showers obviously. Leathers I need to pack waterproofs
whats your advise.
Cheers Nick
