exup valve siezed |

well my exup valve is completly siezed, and someone has removed the pulley and locked it up with a nut as a spacer,i will also need a new cable as one of them is starting to frey, and to make things worse all the bolts on the exup valve have rotted away so it will be a grinder to remove, and all the nuts that hold the downpipes to the head are very rusty,it is a gauranteed case of brute force with some broken studs to boot, and the rear mount for the exhaust looks broke as well,so i think my best route is a replacement downpipes with exup valve, and i will need to remove the radiator to give some more space so loads of work, lucky i did not plan to put the bike back on the road now isnt it

Sprocket nut, London |

Ahoi,
does anyone know where I could get a front sprocket nut, lock ring,36mm socket for the FZS1000 in London, preferably today still?
Not sure how, but mine came off last night, either it was a bit dodgy already and the 15 meter slide last night done the rest, or the slide itself was at fault.
Any directions to where to get one is greatly appreciated, cheers

Anyone encountered an occasional startup problem, starts on 3 cylinders for a short period, then clears, runs fine once on 4, done it both from cold and hot, done it on different plugs, fuel sources, weather, locations, whether sat on side stand or main, been ivanised by Mike about 15,000 miles ago, all that seems different is a slight burble on overrun, put that down to short MIVV can, running without baffle ( sounds like a Eurofighter Typhoon on reheat, when throttled up, lovely!*) any ideas, it may be one of those unsolvable things, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.. :rollin :z
