Just been browsing around the new site looking at the different threads and how much faster it seems to be than the good old site. Then I noticed the header.
Is there such a word as UNOFFICAL? Is that the scottish spelling :o

I am selling my FZS600 Fazer to make way for a new winter project, its a 99 T, 15k miles, black, just fitted new HEL brake lines, serviced a couple of months ago, decent tread on the tyres, not bad nick at all for the age there is a smallish dent on top of the tank and a few scuffs on the bodywork, it rides very well and is comfy on longer rides, taxed and tested, £1499.
Pics to follow.
07790294816 or PM if interested.
Cheers Kev

hey guys (and gals)
ive recently had a new tire fitted in my bike but today when i was riding around 50mph i took my hands off to adjust my glove :evil and it began to wobble?! :eek
it had felt a little weird as id leant it around bends? other then fitting a new tire, of which caused the problem in the first place,i have no idea of what to do, its kinda made me not want to ride it a little as i dont feel i can fully trust it?!
Any advice with be gratefully recieved!

Hi there, I'm looking to buy a fazer (98-02) in the coming weeks (trying to get a bargain as winter starts to show). This will be my first 600 and I've absolutely got my heart set on a fazer. Looking for one that's going to ride everyday - rain or shine but don't want more the 20k on the clock - heard that cam tensioners go, downpipes rust etc etc.
You guys are the experts. I love these bikes (ridden a 1998 and a 2004 and the 1998 was much more fun). Can you offer any guidance on what to spot on a second hand one? Are there any signs that it's a dud that I should look out for. I'm aware that these are bomb-proof bikes and rarely give any trouble but if there was soemthing that was costly to replace and goes pretty regularly then it's be great to hear it!
Cheers
Revilo

I have just joined the new style forum. I was a member of the old one for about 7 or 8 years but have had other distractions recently which prevented much bike activity.
Still got the same Gen 1 and it still goes like a goodun.
Cheers,
Mark (on the old forum as 'mark pollard')

after the last one I said that was enough. the logistics of the supplies is just too much hassle due to the location of the venue. last couple of times I'd wondered about a change of location, so...
if the Gathering in the Glen was to stay alive, which part of Scotland would interest you?
not that I'm offering to carry on as organiser - cos I'd be more than happy for someone else to step forward.
