Adjusting Foot Pegs |

Are the foot pegs even adjustable? Tried looking but it doesn't seem like it. I've noticed that since I adjusted the rear suspension (went from softest to hardest - thank you previous owner :rolleyes ) and now my left leg feels very cramped and squished. I do have quite large legs unfortunately...as well as stomach but thats a different matter entirely :lol

Waterproof boots, anybody got any?! |

After trashing my old boots last year in a spill, I thought I'd treat myself to a nice pair of waterproof touring boots and the ones that came out at the top of my budget were the rather aptly named Alpinestar Hydro Sport Drystar.
With a name like that, how could I possibly go wrong! (all boxes ticked...)
Currently on my second pair, first pair went back quite quickly as they leaked straight away so were replaced under warranty. Second pair let go this week in a torrential downpour on the way to work.
Anyone got any suggestions for boots that do what they say on the advertising? Couldn't get on with Altbergs (the first choice) as they were too narrow in the gusset and didn't want to wait 4 months for a made to measure pair.

I had my Fazer in for MOT today and got a bloody advisory.
It's an after market Scorpion silencer, apparently it's worthy of an advisory on the noise aspect. :lol

What can be done about my mirrors.
I'm not the smallest chap out there
6ft 1 and 17st.
But the mirrors are the worst i've come across on any bike i've owned.
It's my 6th bike.
Are there ways to extend my own or are there longer yamaha mirrors I can buy.
Its a 55 plate Gen 1
Any help welcomed, apart from that i'm well chuffed with the bike
It drags my arse up the road with ease.

Hi all,
I went to change my headlight bulbs the other day for some upgraded bulbs (not sure its worth it considering how shyte the headlights are) - but it looks like the existing ones are glued in! Looks like the clips are missing too.
Any others with the same problem??? Anyone able to point me in the right direction for some replacement clips???
Thanks,
EdC

Fender extender. |

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a fender extender to stop all the water (If I miss judge the weather) stones and debris etc from being thown at my engine rad etc. My question is who has on,e do they work, are some better than others, should any be avoided. I just thought I'd ask before I buy one, I've seen them for under £20 but if a couple of quid more is money well spent then so be it. But I'm a Yorkshireman and don't want to waste money.
Thanks
Andy
