So just wanted to ask can you guys really get the MPG`s that you say ??
I mean i have a 99 Boxeye that does 120 to a tank full
And my gen1 1000 does 160 to a tank full
Above figures are brisk but sensible riding
Or is it that some of you are experts in co drag effeicency  :b :b

i have a photo card driving licence thats due for renewal on 21/04/20 but i have not yet received the reminder which according too DVLA is sent out approx 56 days before expiry,i can renew online if i have a current passport but that expired a couple of years ago,being a carer for my dementia suffering mother rules out any holidays so i couldnt see ant point in renewal...tried emailing DVLA but due to the virus they are not answering emails instead they are asking me to phone and join a never ending que...ive also tried the local post office but they cant help until monday and with things being as they are i dont want to leave the house..i need my licence to help my mum, 24 days left,iam a little bit worried...

anyone else had this, its a straight renewal,no name or address change...

Hi, I've got some r1 forks to put o my GEN 1 Fazer 1000
They are off 4xv model. Do I need to change the springs as I read the R1 springs are too soft for the fazer .
What are the best springs to use.

There will be 3 in the chat possibly 4 and 1 has ios and the others android.I have looked int houseparty app but it wants to know far to much personal info for my comfort zone. So now looking at Zoom and it looks like only the host has to any signing in ?.
Not all have facebook but we all have watsap.

I thought as we've all got a bit of down time at the moment, i would take a pause and introduce myself, I'm Ben im a little new to this wonderful world of 2 wheels, after years of saying i'll do my test i finally did it the day before my 30th birthday! since then i bought a X reg FZS600 and i love it! it has a little battle damage from the privious owner (icy road) but mechanically its fine and the damage im sure i will get round to sorting when the right parts come up. the bike had already had the fairing removed and had different dog bones in to lower the bike. ive since raised it back to standard as i didnt like how upright the bike sat on its side stand, the handle bard had to get change as the ones on it was very tall and narrow so some renthel flat bars now sit lovley on the yokes. I also didnt like the rear end so i made my own tail tidy to sort that out. i have a few more plans but for now im just going to get used to it and build my confidence on the road. thanks for reading i will attempt to get a few pics on, if anyone could guide me as i have tried a few times and nothing seems to work at the moment!

Hi guys ive got the cylinder head back from the engineers and while its off i want to completely strip it and clean up valves ect. Ive started removing the valves and ideally replace all the valve stem seals. How i remove these?? do they just push back out from the cylinder side?? do they even come out at all?? I would greatly appreciate any feedback/advise...Thanks Gaz

Can anyone recommend a screen for the FZ1? I'm 6' 1" and would like to divert as much air around me as I can as I felt like I was going to get blown off the bike the other day.

Took the FZ1 out on Sunday on my first ever ride on it and must say it's bloody fast  :eek


Haven't ridden a bike on public roads for over 30 years but it soon came back after about 20 mins. Stayed out for nearly 3 hrs just sticking to speed limits and country roads mainly as I just wanted to get used to it before I go out on a more regular basis in the summer.


Got muscles aching in places I didn't know I'd got    I think I may have been tensing up a bit. Went past a well known biker cafe while out and there must have been close to 100 bikes there all in close proximity and getting coffee's from some sort of portable outlet...bit risky given the circumstances.


Must admit it felt like the wind was trying to blow me off it...may need a bigger screen!!
