Now I know this isn't a Fazer but I seem to be lacking mid ranger power, I've tried everything do you think I need a new engine?

  Clutch lever getting stiff
Posted by: PaulSmith - 23-11-12, 03:37 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (13)

I am looking for some ideas about what to check.  My clutch lever has been slowly getting stiffer and stiffer. I didn't really notice until I sat on someone elses bike and their lever felt light as a feather. Gear changes and so on seem fine so any ideas would be appreciated.

  Full fairing removal?
Posted by: Fazer on kill - 23-11-12, 01:49 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (6)

So,

I have a fully fairedFZ1.
Tried toremove the fairing to replace air filter. Gve up once I realised that I would have o remove so many screws and then the indicators also need to come offf to move the fairing.

Anyone know better? Think it is running lean at low revs but once its revving it is fine.

  votes for prisoners
Posted by: chaz - 23-11-12, 01:06 AM - Forum: General - Replies (69)

well it looks like these people who due to no fault of their own have ended up in prison, are hoping that the government will not let them have the right to vote so they can then sue the government and get a few grand to spend when they get out.
The lawyers are hoping the same because they are as bad as the scumbags in jail, in Selby two law firms have been shut down and my solicitor was jailed, twice?
If it was up to me prisoners would have to repay the cost of being in jail, after all if you have to go into care due to ill health you have to hand over all what you have worked for.

  Tyre time
Posted by: ChristoT - 23-11-12, 12:57 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (16)

I know this is probably a recurring thread in various flavours, but I thought I'd ask anyway:

The tyres on my Fazer are (for want of a better phrase) dead. Unevenly worn, bald patches, cracks - you name it, they have it! Problem is, I am completely and utterly skint (will need to borrow money to replace them. Hell, will need to borrow money for food!!). I have Continental RoadAttack2s fitted front & rear, plan to replace both.

I've found Maxxis Supermax touring tyres at £152 bundle price. Could you please a) tell me what your views are on the Maxxis (and which tyres are best for the Fazer), and b) if you can find cheaper for a (literally) starving student!!

Thanks!
