Half successful few hours. Spare rear disc fitted but worse than one that was on it. Managed to true it up to 3 thou on the DTI but don't know how it feels yet. Don't hold out much hope tho so new disc needed so it can be used at low speed. The mating diameter is also 3 thou out so maybe the mounting face is slightly out but hey. Fitted new rose joints on gear change but lever pivot is worn so its a bit sloppy. Fitted modified side stand to accommodate for jacked rear so she sits on the stand more upright. Need to fit additional brake light and 2 spots at the front.

My rear calliper is pants, want to get a 1000 one but they are like hens teeth, will r1 calliper a fit?

This July I am planning a holiday in Brittany on the bike. There is a chance that during this holiday my wife will need fly back to the uk (London) for a day or two. If we book a flight now it is £53. I am thinking of buying it now and if its not needed just take the loss. Anyone have any idea how much a ticket bought a day before at that time of year would cost.

Hi guys going to do a tour over to Poland this year and its 2500 miles just there and back without any detours or ride outs , I would like a rear tyre to last until I get back home, so any recomendations? If its possible to get that out of a tyre, or will I have to get one over there?

Hi my bike is restricted and i can only get about 140 miles out of the tank as the light comes on around then. Every one on hear says you can do over 200 whats wrong with mine?  :\

Well guys, finally had my insurance payout come through, so looking to buy an FZS. Was just wondering if there was anyone in here that was thinking about selling? I've had a nose at all the colour schemes now and decided I can't live with either a yellow or a blue one - I don't like the colour blue for some reason, and I find the yellow one just too loud!
As said before in my wanted thread, the ideal colour scheme would be the black/red later models, but i also quite like the gunmetal grey of the later ones too. Would much prefer a black painted engined bike if possible . Also willing to pay more for extras that I'd be wanting on the bike anyway (aftermarket shock, fork work, ivanising and a topbox are the main priorities).
So, who's up for selling?

Apologies for possibly a silly question... I have bought my first bike this week it's a 2001 fazer, gold, black and silver. As you can imagine its very addictive reading all the posts and reviews online about fazers. I have seen a few places showing the colours available in 2001 and mine isn't on them. Just for peace of mind a 51 plate fazer in hold silver and black is perfectly normal/ legitimate?
