| Quick Stoopid Oil Change Questions |

Going to be doing my first oil change soon, couple of quick (and probably stoopid) questions:
1) I'm in the habit of using copper grease on any bolts I remove. Should I grease the sump plug before I put it back in, or do I risk contaminating the oil? If so, copper grease or lithium grease?
2) Which way to turn the sump plug to undo? I've heard people say its the other way than usual because it's upside down, but that's confused me. Don't want to thread it.
3) Will an old washing up bowl be big enough for draining the old oil? Otherwise I'll go asda get cat litter tray.
Sorry if these are dumb, just building up confidence to do these jobs myself (managed to do brake pads successfully but had em checked by professional to be safe, he said all good!).
Thanks in advance, Andy

Hi,
new member to the forum here, hoping someone may be able to offer me some advice regarding a problem I'm having with my rev-counter.
the unit keeps cutting out, needle drops back down to zero revs, then flicks up to 3000 revs, runs as it should for a few seconds, then cuts out again. Keeps doing this constantly (also seems to affect the fuel gauge too, but none of the other instruments).
Apologies if this subject has already been dealt with on the forum, I did have a look through to see if anyone had asked about similar problems but drew a blank, any help or advice on this matter would be gratefully accepted.
Thanks in advance for any help you folks may be able to offer.
Jools

Anyone got experience with HP colour laser printers.
The black came up with the usual getting low messages and then very low print may fade message.
It tells me this every 100 pages some 400 pages ago and still it's printing. Is this normal or do I have a magic toner cartridge!
The red one is looking like it's empty according to the display so will that do the same I wonder?

Hi,
Quick question about the FZS600's mirrors, they're attached to the front fairing which is different from my previous bike and may make storing it a problem (I have to get it down a ginnel then back it up into a tight corner).
Is it possible to fold them in somehow?
