to fit onto a fzs 600 (mine was a 2003 mk2 foxeye but im pretty sure it will fit a mk1 too) i have a yamaha rear rack, a givi plate with wiring to brake light and a givi top box with brake light for sale,

has anyone tried using the dual injector with an fz1? scottoiler website says not compatible but on its spreadsheet says it is. I can't think of why it wouldn't work...


Also, can anyone advise where the vacuum pipes are. can't really work it out from the fitting instructions.

I have noticed recently then when I ride my bike harder than usual I get a petrolly smell from the carb rubber areas...I could smell it when I was riding and then when I stopped I smelt around and it seemed that it was coming from that area....I have recently balanced the carbs and my fuel screws are at 2.5turns....Maybe its normal I dunno

Hi, i was wondering if anyone around 5ft10 has fitted a double bubble screen on there boxeye fazer and noticed any reduction in air smacking them in the face? Is it worth it?

I guess you can call me a born again biker as I've just bought a 03 FZS600 after a very long time away! Thinking of changing the sprocket ratio to 17-46 from the std 15-48 to drop the revs for motorway cruising. As the 03 bike uses a front wheel speed sensor can this be a straight swap of the sprockets or do I need a gizmo to recalibrate the speedo?

Im really missed off theiving gits stole girlfriends only means of getting around and all they've done is move it across the fields damaged the fairing and torched the bike they haven't took the steering lock off for a joy ride so what's was the point. Now got to go through police and insurance see what ee get back never mind trying to find another one and paying the credit people back arrrrr could ffffing swear on here :eek

Just bought my 2002 Fazer yesterday and noticed that the fuel gauge reads really low even with a full tank.
I think it's an electrical problem as when I give it some revs the needle moves, and during a motorway trip at about 6000rpm it starts to read accurately.
Then when the revs drop, the needle reads empty again.


So firstly, how many miles can I expect to a tank? (so I can gauge from the trip meter)
And is this a common problem, and if so is it a simple fix?
