gauging intrest ive got an fce never been fitted any offers ?

been riding three and half years on a full license, just sold my CBR 600f and bandit 600s to purchase this today. The extra power appears useful!

I got back from Turkey last week, and ever since, Tapatalk 2 isn't working properly. I get the notifications OK, but when I try and access the thread, the screen stays white, and a black pop up appears, saying:
"Failed to connect to the forum, please check with the forum administrator if the problem persists"

The forum is working OK on Chrome (also on my phone).

The three questions I have are:
1) Am I the only one experiencing this? (I suspect it's my phone, to be honest)
2) Why is it doing this, was there an update or something I missed? (it's up to date, according to Google Play)
3) What do I do about it?

Hi all, I have a 2003 Fazer 600. Last year I bought a Tsubaki chain and a set of sprockets from a brand I can't remember. I've done about 8000-9000 miles since then, and the chain is fine, but the sprockets are really worn, so I need to replace both.
I'm not interested in adding/removing teeth or anything like that, but I'd just like to know what are the best combinations of chain and sprocket so that they both last and wear evenly.

What other motorcycle forums are worth a browse then? Or sites with some good reading, bike related?

I would like to get a slightly small number plate but it looks like it might look a bit naff on the original under tray unit, has anyone cut their undertray down and if so can it be done neatly and what did you use to do it ? 

Any other foccers going? I saw a nice looking red FZS 600 yesterday in the bike park and wondered if it was anyone here.

Hi Guys , I'm considering getting my tank sprayed after the previous owner left a few scratches on it, gonna cost me£120 though , and I wondered if any of you guys know where I can get two "Yamaha" logo's from??  Looked on Google but only US websites came up with owt.

Just been looking at this website, lots of good info on here, can vouch for the "routes to ride" number 10, (right on my doorstep) The Portsoy Ice cream shop has very good ice cream, and The Fiddoch Side Inn is a very olde worlde kind of pub. If there are more than 10 in your group it would fill the place, and the old man that runs the place is a total classic. Also the road from Banff to Huntly has a good mix of long straights and twisties mixed into one. If you are in the area give it a blast.
Whats your opinions of your local rideouts.

Saw the weirdest thing for a while.


Coming into the high street I have a moped with L plates pull up really close behind me.  Looked in the mirror and the kid is leaning down looking through my back window.  Look behind him and there a guy on a 500 with full reflective, a white flip helmet and a big mike. All the hallmarks of a cbt or training of some kind.

Traffic is at a standstill so I see the kid shout something back to the other guy , other guy nods, so the kid starts filtering.  They get to the traffic lights where there is a bus at the front.  Straight away I thought this is going to end in tear, a moped V a bus on acceleration - I'ld put bets on the bus everytime.

Anyway they pull away like a slow motion drag race, all 10 yards to the traffic queue.  Then the moped unbelievably cuts in in front of the bus into the about 4 foot gap.

Next thing the guy on the bike is shouting and waving arms at the bus driver. Then he cuts in front of the bus, clipping it as he does so.  The bus swings into the left lane which becomes a bus lane and the motorbike guy swings right across him and parks in front .  The bus drives around him and stops at a stop about 30 yards further up. 

The guy on the bike whacks his throttle cuts into the traffic and swings across the bus on a diagonal (in the bus lane) where the guy on the moped also does the same.  Then they both climb on the bus and start to have a real go at the bus driver.

Now I don't know what was said , but from my view, which cos of the curve of the road was good, I didn't see the bus driver do anything out of the ordinary and when the kid cut in there was still plenty of road to filter on.  But if the guy on the bike behind was an instructor what the feck did he think he was doing.

I sent an E-mail to the bus company giving my account of what happened cos if they report the bus driver I wouldn't want to see him losing his job because so idiot either couldn't teach his trainee how to filter properly.
