IGNORE WHAT I SAID BELOW. I GOT IT WRONG. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
I was having a tidy up in the garage and came across some Pazzo levers for a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 K5/K6 (my old race bike) and out of curiosity I wondered in the clutch lever would fit a BoxEye FZS600.
It did!
I have the bike in pieces so I can't road test, but I am fairly confident this will work no bother. Mention it in case anyone needs to replace a clutch lever, you now have a bigger choice.

Hi folks I am looking for advice on how to replace or where I can get a new gear change lever with new bush.
My yr 2000 fzs600 has seen a helluva lot of miles and gear changes and the lever is uber waggly. Would love it to be as new again.
Is there an off the shelf item I can get non genuine / affordable item or is it down to the local cnc/ machine shop to sort me out?
Cheers
Gav
Ps I've not stripped it yet so maybe the shaft needs replacing too?

Thought it good manners to say hello before asking any questions, so hello!
I am a lifelong biker but just bought my first fazer, 2001 1000.
I live in North East lincs and I am 50 years old.
Thanks in advance for answering all the dumb questions I am no doubt going to come up with.
Cheers all, Neil

Really fancied a ride out a couple of weeks ago but my spider senses were telling me that the Mrs would not be too happy if I were to sod off and leave her with two babies to mind, a roast dinner to cook and a 3 bed semi to tidy.
So, cunningly I poured the majority of a bottle of milk down the sink and then called out in my most obedient husband tone
"Do you wanna drink love"?
"Yes please" came the reply.
On went the kettle and a jiffy later i made her a cuppa, stirring it both clockwise and anti-clockwise, just like she likes.
Handing her the brew I commented "Not much milk left love, I better nip out and get some eh"?
She didnt bat an eyelid. "Yeah ok" she said. And off I went for a blast!
I did exactly the same thing today, pour down sink, offer brew, make brew, no milk love, bye then. Works like a charm.
Was I wrong to do this? Because I only feel bad for the cows. :lol

So I thought I'd update the test database for foc-u as it's been a few months since I last did it. So logged into cpanel, made a backup (I do this regularlyish anyway) dropped the test database tables, restored the backup, looked at the test site and - hang on, all the postings are from May!! Looked at the database and the posts table's latest item is indeed dated May.
Scratch head.
Well on my laptop I have ZendServer. So transfer the backup file, create a database, restore the backup, look at the postings table and... the latest one's from May.
Scratch head.
I must have messed up taking the backup, used the test database because I had it on my mind to restore to.
Take another backup, go to the test database, drop the tables, restore the backup and, no The latest post is from May.
Look at everything. Carefully. Go away, touch the ground, come back. Aaahhh I can see the problem - we changed server in May, and my cpanel bookmark still points to the old server :pc
So not only have I wasted half hour or so but, as a bonus, all the backups I have taken since May have been of exactly the same out-of-date database Go on, tell me you've done something this stupid :pc
