Title not very helpful, I realise. But here goes:
Yesterday rode to work, bike fine on morning. Came out after work, wasn't raining but apparently had been most of the day (not sure if that helps diagnosis).
Tried to fire it up, but just kept turning over. Sounded like it was turning over at normal speed.
Tried a few times for a few seconds each time. And about the fifth time it fired up and started idleing as normal. I was worried I was going to flatten the battery with trying to start it.
The ride home was fine, and this morning it fired up no problems, first time (stored in shed overnight).
Any ideas what might have caused this?
P.S. I checked all the usual like engine cut off, and side stand switch.

Hello,
I've got issue with fuel leaking constantly from one of the 2 hoses that are going from the bottom of fuel tank.
Basically how it started.
One day I've noticed that fuel is going from the fuel cap, there was really high pressure in the tank, because when I've opened it I had petrol spread on my face .
When I've closed it back, after 10 minutes there was leak again, I thought I will go for a ride, because it was warm day and I've thought that I've overfilled my bike (but it was already after 50 miles done on tank).
After 70 mile trip (Cheddar Gorge, really nice area) I've left my bike overnight and everything was fine, no leaks (because not much fuel left I think).
Next day morning I've realized I could block one of the hoses when was removing fuel tank, so I've checked that and yes, one of the hoses was blocked. Today I've fueled my bike and after 19 miles of commuting I've left my bike in front of my office.
Fuel was slowly spreading on the ground for all the day, till guard told me about issue.
I've capped one of the leaking pipes (there is something going down from bottom of carbureator that fit's the size of hose and blocks it and went back to home.
I've downloaded service manual and checked if I could overfuel my bike and that's true, but after doing about 30 miles fuel level was below the highest level that service manual says to not exceed.
When I've uncapped previously capped hose it's leaking constantly with dots each few seconds.
Both of them seems to be unblocked (yes I've used my lungs to check that).
1. What could be the issue?
2. Can I ride with capped one of the leaking hoses?
3. If not how can I repair? It seems that something is broken inside of fuel tank?
4. Where can I read how it works? Service manual does not say anything about that.
I've got a feeling that I had blocked breath hose, so the pressure from the tank was going through the cap.
Now when I've unblocked the breath hose, I've got leaks from drown/overflow hose, so I've capped it.
... but I am still not exactly sure how it works.
