Hi all


Last week someone tried hot wiring the bike and in the process sheared off the cables to the ignition. Long story short i need to replace the ignition.


First off, if anyone has one they'd like to sell then let me know, i would prefer to buy used than new!


In the process of tracking down the part i have come across exploded diagrams of the 1000 and 600 bikes and the parts look identical:

They are different prices and the part number itself is not shown but can anyone tell me if they are in fact the same unit?

Bought myself a new tool.....trying to get my heating bills down to a sensible level.got the cavity wall insulation boys coming tomorrow so that should help.should be able to measure the difference with the "infrared temperture probe" bought today at lidl for £17.99...tryed it on mrs red and it works well  :lol :lol :lol......will also work well on fazer exhaust down pipes to see if all cylinders are up to temp .....dos'nt mention that in the instructions though  :rolleyes

Hi, pilot screw is broken on carb 4 on my 99 fzs600. The side that tps bolts on to. Does anyone have a scrap set of carbs that i could split that one out of please. I've already bought a complete set off ebay but it runs rough low down with them. Was hoping to build up replacement set to swap over.

Anyone have any suggestions of what bar ends to fit on rental bars? Would like something with a bit of weight, not the usual alloy stuff ?
