Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Craiginuk - 19-01-14 Hi, pilot screw is broken on carb 4 on my 99 fzs600. The side that tps bolts on to. Does anyone have a scrap set of carbs that i could split that one out of please. I've already bought a complete set off ebay but it runs rough low down with them. Was hoping to build up replacement set to swap over. Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Deefer666 - 19-01-14 I have a scrap set of 4 you can have for £20 Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Craiginuk - 19-01-14 Thanks Deefer, where are you based? Or could you post? And is the one that the tips bolts to ok pilot screw wise? Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Deefer666 - 19-01-14 The workshop is at PE28 0QD.... I will make sure the pilot screws are ok Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Craiginuk - 19-01-14 Ok will have a think and see when next I'm passing. How hard are they to split or would it be best to transfer sliders etc into the bank you have? Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Deefer666 - 19-01-14 You can split the bank of carbs by undoing the nuts on the ends and withdrawing the rod that they all sit on but the throttle tension springs will fly off in random directions and end up in that place where odd socks go to die never to be seen again. It would probaly be far easier to rebuild the new carb bodies with your carb internals Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Craiginuk - 19-01-14 Hi Deefer, would you be able to post please? Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Deefer666 - 20-01-14 yup, i will price it up Re: Wanted Fzs600 single carb body - Craiginuk - 20-01-14 Ok many thanks, you don't have access to an ultrasonic cleaner do you? Happy to pay extra to have them cleaned first. Cheers Craig |
