switched the hotgrips on this morning to find the throttle grip not heating up at all. Have others had the same happen or is it a one off so to speak. I can't imagine there is a fix other than renewal but if there is, what is it?

Can anyone accurately measure the width of the top of the standard shock so i can get washers made of before fitting the BMW S1000 shock please?

Beware if you're riding in these areas today/this weekend - police having a crackdown on speeding bikers - have heard warnings that you will get the full treatment if stopped - rectification notices for loud pipes; tax, tyres etc being checked.

I've always rebuilt my ZX6R shocks, however, the Fazer example is a different matter, it's very difficult to strip down.
I'd prefer not to pay £300 for a new rear shock. I'd prefer to rebuild an alternative with rebound, etc. I have a rebuilt ZX6R 1999 example, but it's over 1" too long. Anyone advice in this area? Any make that might be similar in size that I could acquire & rebuild?

.....ive got a bit of a wobble as I accelerate at about 70mph like a small tank slap can ride through it but is spoiling my ride....new tyres approx 1000 miles ago.forks and rear spring on factory settings, iam 12st so about average.........iam not hot on suspension so need a bit of help, going to check head and wheel bearings tomorrow, is there anything else I should be looking at ?
