Just wanted to put this out there for anyone else wanting a new battery....
My one finally died (been on the bike for about 6/7 years so not done bad)
So i looked online and found Tanya batteries, and ordered a new YT14B-BS thursday evening and it was delivered friday lunchtime
Excellent service and cheaper than Halfords who couldnt deliver until next week.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to track down my old FZS600 (T629 AFP) Last thing I know about it is that it was sold to Webbs (Eye) which has now closed about 14 years ago. It's MoT expired over a year ago according to the gov.uk site. I know this is a longshot but any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Headlight strip down? |

Hi people, I’ve just got hold of a 2000 fazer 600 and in the left (as you sit on the bike) headlight has a metal bracket that sits over the bulb inside the lamp unit. This has come loose and is flapping about in the headlight and will probably fail an MOT as it affects the beam. Has anyone stripped a headlight down or does anybody know if they come apart? I’m guessing a new/secondhand unit won’t be cheap!

Plastic carburetor intake valve |

Hi,
I need to change these plastic intake valves, on picture number 19: http://yampart.com/wp-content/uploads/20...M-Copy.jpg
So far I've found them under parts no. 5DM-14113 and 5DM-14112.
112 are somewhat available to buy new, but 113 are not.
112 are supposedly from 1998-1999 models, and 113 from redesign.
Does anyone know if 112 will fit in model 2003? Have they changed anything in this department with redesign model?
I'm not sure if I can order 112s...

This morning while in neutral I flashed my headlights using the finger lever and noticed the temp and oil led momentarily illuminated. Is this normal?

Brake caliper original color |

Hey guys,
I‘m currently rebuilding my front end. Forks are already done and back on the bike. Now I wanted to change the brake pads and while cleaning the brake calipers with a wire brush I noticed they started to become bronze.
I actually prefer this color over some boring black like they were before, probably because they were caked in brake dust.
My problem is that this bronze color fades away really quickly and turns black again. Just touching it with my glove turns them black. So are they originally colored bronze or am I just wasting my time here trying to bring this color back? I already tried cleaning them with brake cleaner, carb cleaner and rim cleaner but nothing really works I‘d say they even turn them black again rather than clean them.
