A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly-behaved grandson.
He has his hands full with the child screaming for sweets, biscuits, all sorts of things. The grandad is saying in a controlled voice: "Easy, William, we won't be long . . . easy boy."
Another outburst and she hears the Grandad calmly say : "It's okay William. Just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."
At the checkout the little horror is throwing items out of the trolley. Grandad says again in a controlled voice : "William, William, relax buddy, don't get upset. We'll be home in five minutes, stay cool William."
Very impressed, she goes outside to where the grandfather is loading his groceries and the boy into the car. She says :
"It's none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don't know how you did it. That whole time you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. William is very lucky to have you as his grandad."
"Thanks," says the grandpa. "But I am William. The little ba****d's name is Kevin."

EXUP valve cover plate wanted |

Has anyone got a good EXUP cover plate they want to sell? I need the plate which bolts to the collector box and has one of the bearings for the EXUP valve shaft in it, not the shiny tin plate cover which "protects" it from corrosion, yeah right, course it does.
Anyone?

water in tank problem |

The last week or 2 I have noticed water has filled around the rim of my fuel tanks filler cap when I have opened it to fill with fuel. It never used to have water collecting there, so I can only assume there is a blockage in the drainage system from the filler cap. I reckon water has got into my fuel tank too, that would explain why the low revs stutter has returned.
My question is, what should now be my procedure? How do I make sure water is removed from my tank and do I need to drain the carbs? If so how do I do that?

This is not advertised anywhere else at the minute as I'm still kinda in two minds about getting rid of it.
I'm based in Worthing, West Sussex and would recomend that if anyone is interested then they come and view the bike.
So here's a link to my original posts on here which kinda detail the bikes history and evolution since I first bought it.
http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,19427.0.html
It's got 28,000mls on the clock, MOT expires 30th of July 2017.
Both Tyres, chain and sprockets are good with plenty of life left in them.
It's got a Hagon Rear Shock that has recently been rebuilt by Hagon at their factory so is spot on.
I rebuilt the forks with new oil and seals at the begining of the year.
It has a full set of Hell Blue Braided Brake lines recently fitted and of course fresh brake fluid.
One off comfort seat with leather cover.
Larger Givi Touring Screen fitted but also have a lower Blue screen.
Black Engine Bars
The Bike has had the AIS removed and been Ivanised.
Recent full service with Plugs, Oil, Pipercross air filter and fresh antifreeze.
Stainless Steel Exhaust System (so no more Exup valve to worry about), stainless exhaust studs fitted and a Beauwolf end can.
Givi rear rack (Top Box Not Included) and standard Blue Grab handles so can be returned to standard if preferred.
Two keys and original owners pack.
There's also probably some other bits I've forgot but you get the idea.
Anyway I'd be looking for around £2395 as it stands or £2000 in standard (or as close to standard) as I can get it, i.e. without the extras that easily bolt off.
Reason for considering the sale is that a mate is giving up biking and has offered me his bike at a price I'm struggling to say no to, especially as his is more touring focussed and I have a few trips planned next year which his bike would be much better suited to.
