Is it just me,or has this been addressed in the past?
I don't see why there's no tab to mark a sales add as Sold.
Sale adds stay on for mths on end, even if marked as sold buy the seller.

Surely this is an easy fix for some computermabob wizard to add in a "Delete or Sold" tab, this would instantly free up space on the site. :rolleyes

  Gen 1 LED Headlights
Posted by: old son - 19-02-23, 05:52 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

I’ve had LED headlights on the bike for about 5 years. They have been great. Unfortunately one of the bulbs have blown in dipped mode. I have tried to find a bulb with similar plugs but have hit a wall. The bulb connects to a black box via a four pin plug. There is a locking strap around the outside of the plug to lock the two parts together. Has anybody seen this type of connection?  They are 4000LM.

Alternatively, had anybody fitted LED lights and were happy with the install and they’ve not had any issues?  I’ll probably end up buying a new pair so any information would be greatly received.

  Back Again
Posted by: dave8204 - 19-02-23, 02:11 AM - Forum: Introduction - Replies (2)

I used to use this forum back in 2003 (seriously) when I was running an 01 Fazer with the metallic gold and black paint which I rode into the ground. Since then had a 600 Hornet........yes I know.....it was nice and light, very easy to ride around town ,apart from that it was a revvy, thirsty rust bucket...,one of the ones made in Italy,so much for Honda build quality. Next I had a 900 Hornet which was made in Japan and was a quality bit of kit, also bland and lardy and I never really got on with it. More recently I've had a 600 Bandit ,nowhere near as much fun as a Fazer but I've had it for over 10 years and nearly 63,000 miles. done very well and never let me down despite being ridden all year round.........and now I fancy a Fazer again. There's a mint 1999 model quite near me, a cheap low miles FZ and the most likely candidate,a very tidy Diversion (later model) at a good price.
So,just browsing online checking stuff out..............but I'll be back.

  Fabricators needed!
Posted by: StreetFzr - 13-02-23, 04:39 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Hello all. Hope everyone has had a good Xmas and New Year.
So I have a 1999 FZS600 and want to convert the tail to an R6 tail. As I have limited skills I'm probably going to be best off giving it to someone who can do the fabrication for me.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a reputable fab shop who could do the work for me?
I'm based in County Durham but wouldn't mind dropping the bike off somewhere else.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Running low and high beam together. --Foxy--
Posted by: siedlik - 13-02-23, 12:08 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Hello,

Is it possible to run low and high beam together when on High beam mode ?
When I ride on the side roads/country roads all I do is keep switching the lights from low to high all the time, because the roads are shit, with potholes and uneven roads all over the place.
Would pulling the wire from High beam light to low beam light work ?
I got LED lights, so they don't need so much power I would assume.

Thanks.
