  Caliper bolts?
Posted by: Dudeofrude - 27-12-16, 04:19 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (8)

Does anyone know where I can get a full set of the bolts/screws for the rear caliper on a gen 2?
The previous owner decided in all his wisdom to paint the whole caliper without taking it apart and now all the bolts look crappy so I'm wanting to replace all of them with nice new stainless ones. So If anybody could point me in the direction of either the size info or a place I could buy them that'd be great.
Thanks

  New Front Brake Discs
Posted by: Neon Knight - 27-12-16, 04:15 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

I have been looking on the net for some new front brake discs for my beloved 2000 FZS 600. I have seen a set advertised at £150 for a pair by a company called wizbiz on eBay. Does anyone know if they are any good or should I give them a miss. The low price is very tempting but I don't want to waste my cash and a load of old crap. Also does anyone have any viable alternatives ? Your help, opinions and advice would be much appreciated.  Smile

  Heated grips
Posted by: MMCMME - 26-12-16, 04:27 PM - Forum: FZ6 / FZ6 Fazer - Replies (7)

Just ordered myself a set of heated grips, due to arrive in a couple of days and never had any before.

Where is best to wire the positive? Ideally would like to avoid connecting directly to battery to save killing it when I forget to switch them off.

Any FZ6'ers wired grips in easily and successfully?

Cheers!

Boxing Day meet, Pied Bull Farningham A20
Posted by: Grandma - 25-12-16, 09:07 AM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - Replies (4)

To save my sanity over Christmas I escape to the Pied Bull at  A20 Farningham Boxing Day. Planning to go tomorrow, usually an interesting mix of bikes & peeps and I park at the top of the High Street on a garage forecourt with bars to prevent cars doing this when shut, but room for a bike, as the High St is usually packed solid. 8)
