It's come to an end :(
Posted by: sinto607276 - 16-03-17, 09:42 PM - Forum: General - Replies (9)

Hello fellow foccers...
As you or may not be aware I've sold my fazer and now moving on to pastures new.
I'd like to thank you all very much for your help on my bike and a few personal issues I've shared with you over the last two years of ownership of my faithful steed.
But as said, time to move on and I've now bought a Pan European from a private seller a way down in London.
Getting it was a deal in itself, train journey down and ride the bike back, blown all over the road with the start of this storm that's just starting.
A big special thank you goes out to celticdog, who let me stay at his place on the way home to catch up on some sleep, sandwiches and coffee Smile All very much appreciated and hope I can return the favour someday.
I'll keep in touch with the forum now and then as I've still got a few things lying around that may be of use to someone Smile

Cheers guys,

Sinto

Due to some corrosion and damage done by a motorcycle shop, I am in need of a Rear Wheel.  I would like one in Good or better condition, would prefer the original satin black but open to other solutions.

many thanks.

New front tyre and rubbing sound?
Posted by: Adscan - 16-03-17, 01:00 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (8)

I just had a new set of tyres fitted to my 01 FZS600 Fazer and i can hear a rubbing from the front? Sounds like the mudguard is rubbing but cannot see any contact upon inspection. These tyres are listed as the correct size so unsure of what could be rubbing. Anyone had similar issues?
Going to swing by the mechanic that installed the tyres and see if they can help.

Tyres are 110/70/17 and 160/60/17 Michelin PR3.

Bit of Fun. BHP/Ton of Your Bike With/Without Your Fat Arse + Equivalent Cars
Posted by: Frosties - 15-03-17, 11:56 PM - Forum: General - Replies (21)

Just a bit of fun. Chuck in your bike's flywheel power i.e. 96Bhp FZS600 then chuck in your weight and it gives BHP/Ton with or without your arse on it.

Reckon the "Racing Snake" as Tomski put it will win this one  :lol

I got 327 Bhp/Ton with my arse on the bike

Wot the FOC-U is going on?
Posted by: tommyardin - 15-03-17, 10:31 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (15)

This is happening more and more often to me is anyone else having this problem?
Some times when I reply or quote to a post, I write out my response, read it through, correct any typos, change what I have said, hoping it is more legible. Then hit post to be confronted with this:

Internal Server Error  The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@foc-u.co.uk to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The time it is occurring is more and more often over the last 3 or 4 days. And each time it happens my post is lost/dumped/gone  :'(

In fact it is having the effect of pissing me off and not wanting to bother making any more posts.

And the majority clapped their hands jumped up and down and shouted AMEN!  :eek

in fact I have just copied this message and pasted it into a Word document just in case it goes tits up again when I hit post.
Here goes

update it worked this time, but I'm not holding my breath I will continue writting my posts in MS Word save it and cut and paste it into FOC-U untill its sorted if of course it is a Forum issue and not just mine.

  Green Plating?
Posted by: vinnyb - 15-03-17, 10:04 PM - Forum: General - Replies (2)

Here's one you all you clever foccers out there. Does anybody know what electroplating Yamaha use on there nuts, bolts, pipes, clips etc? If anyone does know, do they also know who can replicate it? The closest I've seen is olive drab passivated zinc but I don't think it is. Any help would be very much appreciated.

To the admins and moderators of this group;
Can you please try to have a little more control over who you let in. There is a new member.... An older woman and she has been privately propositioning men!
She sends naked pictures of herself along with close ups of her private parts. She is offering an iPhone 7 in exchange for sexual favours.
I am especially upset at this last part because, as it turns out the phone wasn't even an iPhone 7....... It was a iPhone 6!!!
And it obviously has a virus because it's ridiculously slow and on top of that, the power button sticks !
