My name is Andy from Bexley in Kent.

After owning a few different bikes and currently own 4 Ducati's, I have bought an '05 Thousand for commuting and general everyday biking.

I will be posting in the help section no doubt, as I am not familiar with the Fazer. Although I do like to do my own spannering.

Hope to be a regular face on here.

  Me and two other bikes are of to le man's on Friday got digs about 1 hour drive from the track, any tips on driving in France appreciated, also anyone else on here going?

Just got a Garmin , does anyone know if you wire direct to battery there's two wires pos and neg fused, or should it be wired to ignition. I already have a USB charger but Sat nav must use the cradle. Thanks

anyone know the colour of the wire that feeds the digital display on a 2007 FZ1? mines got a break in it and the display works only when it feels like it!!! would really appreciate some help with this..... :'( :'(

ok, so i've had my fazer since 2011 and not put too many miles on it. i'm riding my versys all the time and the fazers been in a garage on sorn since 2013 and hasnt fired up since. it has new C&S, new tyres and is relatively low mileage. i have got a new battery somewhere so i'll try to start it in the next few days. it was running fine until i abandoned it!  it is completely standard and would make a good 'emerging classic' buy. i fancy building a fighter and this bike is too good to butcher, so i'm looking for a vfr750 preferably running to attack with my grinder. i'm not su[size=1em]re what to ask for it so i'm just seeing if there is any interest. ta. i would post some pics but photobucket aint copying for some reason.[/size]

:rolleyes  Errm hello, just bought a fifty thousand mile FZS600 year 99. I got the usual sales speak of very good cond ect and it all turned out to be crap, nice looker but i now need some advice. First the tyres are twelve years old and the rear as bald as a coot, any advice on good sticky rubber for this model? also does any other rear disc fit this model as i am finding new replacements very expensive. Fork seals are buggered as is all the pads and the carb to head rubbers are shot, fun isn't it? Anyway, as for tyres i want grip over wear so any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.

So one of the bolts holding the plastic stuff around the dashboard has the thread ruined and I have to replace it, but so far I have failed to find something similar. Can anyone tell me what to google for exactly? Or point me to a shop that might have it?

Just bought a modded R6 shock off a fellow member, excited to test it out and compare the difference between a 40,000 mile unserviced standard shock and the r6 unit! il keep you posted
