Strong and large panniers perfect for touring. Had been fitted to a 2001 fazer 600 so brackets available but could easily be adapted.  £35 for a quick sale!

Hello I've been riding since I was 16 first bike CB72 250 Honda past my test on it at 16 never been without a bike since.  I do drive a 4x4 as well and call it a bikers revenge leave the rest to your imagination. My passion is bikes  I have owned from xjr1300's, 1200 Bandits, to GSXR750, FZR  1000s ZZR1100s,  various trail bikes to CCM supa motos , but prefer sports bikes. Finally got round to the  2008 FZ1S as a good compromise between a sports bike and the comfort of a naked bike, to many trips down the road minus the bike and fridge/pub mean the old knees don't bend like they used to and there ain't room for my guts and petrol tank any more on a sports bike . Really impressed with the FZ1.

Hi guys

So the time has come where i need to address my forks, as you can see from the pictures attached they both have got this weird white rush on them.

It is really starting to get me down as it is now the worst part of the bike and I really need to do something about it.

Was wondering what my options are exactly? I am fully open to suggestions and would love to hear what you all recommend.

[color=rgb(51, 51, 51)]I purchased the bike from Woodford Motorcycles in November 2015, bike was in standard trim excepting R&G Fender extender and R&G Number plate hanger and fender extender. I've added Crash bobbins, Shock sock and Radiator guard - all R&G. Also had Datatag fitted by the dealer (Woodford Motorcycles) and have the certificate. The bike has also undergone full professional ACF50 treatment twice (Dec 2015 & July 2016) by Winners Detailing/All Year Biker franchise. [/color]

There are some long gaps between services, but low mileage implies to me that it was a fair weather riders occasional ride (the dealer I bought from were very comfortable with these gaps & sold the bike with warranty):[/color]

[/color][color=rgb(31, 82, 123)]Brake pads[/color][color=rgb(51, 51, 51)] and tyres are about 2/3rds worn

I have this morning had a coolant leak at the front of the engine, anyone else had this? Easy Fix?

Im planning for a big two up trip next summer (Ireland) and as a result I need some luggage capacity. I tried soft panniers previously but they are too much effort getting on and off the bike and my wife cant get her feet on the pegs


I looked at some Givi systems but they say suitable for 03-05 bikes, mines a 2002.


What have people used? is there a "best buy" set up that will do the trick?  Im thinking top box and side cases.

Anyone used his services recently? Was thinking of giving him a call....what sort of money we talking?...is it better to take the bike and let him see you sat on it?...or better to just post the seat to him for his miracle working?

after buying my 2012 fazer 8 last week and hiding in the wings here, I thought id better join in and introduce myself properly
I'm in Nottingham, I'm 50 and have had literally 30-40 bikes maybe more in my time,
I just sold my w800 and bought the fazer8, everything is stock bar the exhaust ,which il come to in a minute, it already has a nice stainless rad guard,crash bobbins, and it came with a fugly rear carrier/topbox mount,
the exhaust.... I saw a video on youtube where a guy called bambam had fitted a zx10 stock end can to his fz8 and it sounded sweet and didn't look out of place, so I did the same and it sure does sound nice,
il get some pics up soon, and maybe a vid if our lad can do it for me because I'm shite at stuff that doesn't involve spanners

Hi all, I have sold my gen 1 Fazer 1000 and forgot I had this Clymer manual in the garage cupboard. It is in very good condition.
If anyone is interested, £12 plus postage.

went out for a sunday  morning ride last week, bike not been rode for a wile
r and notice that the revs  weren't shutting off when the throttle was closed approaching roundabouts traffic lights etc when stopped at junctions bike would sill be reeving at 3000 for a short time before dropping to its normal 1000 tick over,
If you stop the engine then start when warm it will rev at 3000 before settling to normal tick over,
as i headed home bike started running rough/lumpy at junctions traffic lights and by the time i got home lt would not tick over and was revving at 5000 and not dropping,
went and started it this morning started up first time and ticking over at 1000,
cables ok
diaphragm in carbs?
any  suggestions would be much appreciated.
