Me and Dazza are off to Rye this coming Monday.  Leaving Sittingbourne around 4.00pm ish.  Heading to Rye for fish and chips, no definite route as yet so could potentially detour (within reason) to pick people up.

So when the key is turned the needle climbs to the very top and stays there, all the time, however the reserve light still works? And often (not always) when it comes on the needle will jump to the correct level? How do i fix this so it works normally?

thinking about a track day (novice only brands hatch in august) atm i have new set of bridgestone t30 evo's fitted to my fzs600,
my question is can i ride the 70miles to brands, spend the day learning the track, have some fun, and ride home again on the same tyres ?


or will the tyres be done for?


sorry for the novice question but really dont know how tyres last on track for a first timer


PS i have reasonable experience on road and ride hard at times and my tyres usually last around 7000 (t30 evo)   

Have not been out on the bike now for over a week it has either been thunder & Lightening and pouring down
or this today.
It is supposed to be a lot cooler tomorrow.

I have just brought my 2004 FZS1000 back from Spain and plan to re-register it back in the UK, luckily I kept the old head light which I have just fitted and all works well.......my question is what side should be lit (or both) as I cannot remember if it is just the same as Spain (RHS illuminated) bike is going for mot this week

Don't suppose anyone is parting out a bike with a nose that isn't all rashed up? Bike got knocked over (no note ...), and I want to restore it to glory, Ideally without paying £200 for a new OEM one.

Sorry if this has already been covered but can't find anything on here. Does any one know where I can get a sports rack something along the lines of a Rentec style. Can't seem to find any one that makes one. Would use a tank bag but there's not room on top of the tank for my fat guts and a small bag.

I have a UK market bike in Ireland (2005 Gen 1 FZS), with the speedo in km/h and the odometer in miles.

Is it possible to switch the odometer to kilometres too?

I have a PDF of the manual and function isn't mentioned.

I can set the clock with the Select and Reset button at the same time option, but nothing seems to get you into the ODO functions.
